The owner has great taste: the wooden details in the courtyard, vibrant bougainvillea blooming everywhere, and thoughtfully arranged potted plants created such a cozy, serene vibe. Loved the welcome fruit too—small touches that made the stay feel special. Location is fantastic—just a 10-minute walk to Hunan University, and right in the heart of a foodie’s paradise with endless street eats nearby. The metro station is super close, making it easy to get anywhere around the city. What really stood out was the owner’s warm hospitality—offered a free room upgrade during weekdays! Plus, the little dog at the property is absolutely adorable, always wagging its tail and eager for attention. It added so much charm to the experience. Across the street is Changsha University of Technology, and it’s just a short walk to Tujia Chong Metro Station. A quick ride gets you to Huangtuling in one stop, and only four or five stops to Wuyi Square—perfect for a day out. I highly recommend stepping off at the South Gate to try a legendary sugar oil ball stall that’s been around for over 20 years—worth every bite! The host was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind—super impressive. The whole experience felt warm and authentic. Can’t wait to come back again!
