This hidden gem in the heart of Chengdu's Taikoo Li is absolutely worth every penny! From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming—smiling, offering to carry our luggage, and checking us in with lightning speed. No waiting around at all. The room was immaculate—crisp, fresh linens with zero wrinkles or odors, and amazing natural light. Pull back the curtains, and you're greeted by a stunning city view. Everything about the room felt thoughtfully designed: strong hot water, efficient heating from the air conditioning, and high-quality toiletries that made us feel pampered. Location-wise, it's unbeatable—right next to a metro station, with street food stalls, shopping malls, and everything else you could want just steps away. Staying at Mercure Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley West was a great experience overall. The service stood out—my family is highly sensitive to smoke, so we specifically requested a non-smoking room on a higher floor, and the front desk staff handled it instantly with a smile. Truly appreciated! Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options—plenty to choose from and very satisfying. Location-wise, it's super convenient: a Hongqi supermarket and a fruit shop are just a 5-minute walk away, making daily essentials easy to grab. And don’t miss the fried rice noodles sold by the lady right in front of the supermarket—absolutely delicious (check the photo)! The only minor downside is that the room and bathroom are a bit small—moving around with two suitcases (one large, one medium) was a little tricky. I even forgot to take pictures! But despite that, the hotel delivers great value, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth staying again.

My stay at Chengdu Jinniu EVEN Hotels was absolutely outstanding—10 out of 10 without a doubt! I especially want to highlight the amazing service from front desk staff Xiao Huang and Xiao Zhang. Check-in was quick, smooth, and professional, and they even proactively shared details about the laundry service and breakfast hours—such a thoughtful touch. Later in the evening, I had a small issue upon returning to the hotel, and reaching out for help was the best decision. They responded instantly with genuine care and enthusiasm, never once showing frustration. Their dedication made the entire trip feel more relaxed and enjoyable. The hotel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and conveniently located near public transit. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chengdu.

Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel

This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. I was especially impressed by the cinema-themed room — the design is unique and stylish, exactly my kind of vibe. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.

CD YUENCHI

Staying at CD YUENCHI was an absolute delight. The suite design is truly unique—two bathrooms allow for privacy while still sharing the living space, perfect for relaxing together with a cup of tea. The hallway just outside the door is stunning, with traditional Sichuan embroidery cushions paired beautifully with Ming-style furniture, instantly creating a timeless, immersive atmosphere. Staff were exceptional—front desk team members Xiao Fu and Qin Qin were warm, attentive, and professional, and the restaurant staff were equally friendly and helpful. Every interaction felt personal and genuine. This place offers such a special blend of elegance, comfort, and cultural charm. I’d definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Chengdu.

Dorsett Chengdu

Staying at Dorsett Chengdu (Chunxi Road & Wenshu Temple Branch) was an absolute pleasure. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the metro station, making it incredibly convenient whether you're here for business or leisure. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Zhang and Manager Mao, were warm, professional, and efficient during check-in. Room assignment by Manager Zhou was spot-on—quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the whole experience stand out. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtfully handled. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu—highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
