Staying at Summit Hotel Seoul Dongdaemun was an absolute breeze. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Dongdaemun Market and right next to the subway station, making it super easy to get around the city. There's also an airport bus stop right outside the hotel, which made my arrival and departure so convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent service throughout my stay. I loved how central everything was—shopping, dining, sightseeing—all within walking distance. This place offers fantastic value for money and truly delivers on comfort and convenience. I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
I stayed at Mangrove Sinseol Hotel for a few days and was really impressed. The location is perfect—right next to the subway station, just a 15-minute ride to Seongsu and about 30 minutes to Hongdae. The airport bus 6002 stops right outside, making travel super convenient. There are plenty of nearby convenience stores like 7-Eleven, CU, OY, Mega, and Mammoth—no long lines even during peak hours. The building has a secure entry with a password lock, and the elevator requires your room keycard, which adds peace of mind. The shared kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop terrace offers a great view—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, and the machine supports Simplified Chinese, which is a big plus for introverted travelers. The bathroom is on the smaller side, and housekeeping comes every six days, but that’s not an issue if you’re staying just a few days. Overall, it’s a quiet, safe, and well-designed place with excellent value. Highly recommend for solo travelers.
Staying at Ara Hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The room was exceptionally clean—right from the moment I walked in, everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. Located just steps away from subway access, getting around Seoul was super convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the value for money really stands out. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul—it’s a great choice for both comfort and convenience.
This hotel offers incredible value for money! I was genuinely impressed with how affordable yet comfortable it was. Just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient to explore Seoul. The staff were outstanding—especially one young gentleman who helped carry my luggage with a warm smile and great manners. It made such a difference to my stay. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on comfort or service, this is definitely a top pick. I’ll be coming back here on my next visit to Seoul!
Staying at Hotel Yaja Sungshin Women's University Station was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and incredibly quiet—perfect for a good night’s sleep. What really stood out was the unbeatable convenience of the location. Just steps away from the subway, I could easily reach all the major areas of Seoul in minutes. The neighborhood is packed with great dining options and shopping spots, and there are two Olive Young stores nearby—ideal for picking up skincare or travel essentials. Everything you need is within walking distance, making this hotel a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommend! It’s not just convenient—it’s a perfect balance of comfort, value, and location.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed than the first time! The value for money is outstanding—free bottled water, instant coffee, and hot water are all included, which makes early mornings so much easier. Check-in is super convenient with a self-service system: just find your name at the front desk and grab your key. Even though it says check-in starts at 5 PM, we were able to check in earlier without any issues. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Located just steps from the subway station, getting around Seoul is a breeze. Clean rooms, great amenities, and a fantastic location—it’s definitely one of my top picks for budget-friendly stays in the city. Highly recommended!
Staying at M.H Seoul Dongdaemun Guest House was an absolute delight, especially for travelers who value convenience and location. The property is perfectly situated in the heart of Seoul’s transit network—just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. I joined a local tour group, and it only took me 5 minutes to walk from the guesthouse to the meeting point at DDP. Nearby, there's a small supermarket for essentials, and airport buses stop just steps away. In fact, reaching the famous APM wholesale market takes only 10 minutes on foot, while Myeongdong is just two subway stops away. Everything feels within reach, which makes this place ideal for both first-time visitors and seasoned explorers. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and unbeatable accessibility—this is exactly what a great stay should be. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Seoul like a local.
I’ve stayed at many guesthouses in Seoul, but this one truly stood out. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—always going the extra mile with genuine care. Yes, there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up a few flights, but the building isn’t too high, and they’re more than willing to help with your bags. The room is small, but spotlessly clean and well-maintained—no dust, no odors, just a fresh, cozy feel. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. It’s located just steps from the subway, making it super convenient for exploring the city. For the price, the value is outstanding. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul. A gem of a stay.
While the hotel is a bit outside the city center, it offers significantly better value compared to other options in downtown Seoul. The nearby subway station makes getting around easy—just hop on the train to explore major attractions. Alternatively, using a local ride-hailing app (available for download) lets you book a car in advance or request one instantly, which was especially helpful for our family of six. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance offering all kinds of authentic Korean food—just take a stroll and you’ll find something delicious. The front desk staff speak English and are genuinely warm and attentive. We booked two rooms: one king bedroom and one twin room with a queen-sized bed and a single bed, perfect for three people. The room had a lovely balcony, ample space, clean interiors, and water temperature that was just right. I particularly loved the shampoo and conditioner—they left my hair incredibly soft and smooth. I’d love to know the brand! Breakfast was modest in variety but tasty overall. All in all, this stay was highly satisfying, and I’d definitely return.
Staying at Vista Walkerhill Seoul was an absolute highlight of my trip to Seoul. The room was spotless, bright, and spacious—right from the start, I headed up to the 4th-floor viewing deck, and wow, the night views of the Han River were breathtaking. The city lights shimmering across the water made for a truly unforgettable experience. Compared to other riverside rooms in Seoul, this place offers incredible value for money. It’s not just about the view—it’s also super convenient with great access via subway. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stunning river view without breaking the bank. Definitely planning to come back.
Staying at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—right next to Cheonggyecheon Stream, with a peaceful walkway just steps from the hotel entrance. I easily reached Doota and Design Plaza on foot, making it perfect for shopping and exploring local creativity. The breakfast buffet was exceptional—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious options from both Korean and international cuisines. I especially loved the made-to-order omelets and warm artisan bread. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay, always going the extra mile. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable—the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel: top-notch amenities, smart TV, premium bedding, and excellent soundproofing. It’s clear this hotel cares about guest comfort and experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
The Shilla Seoul is an exceptional choice for a stay in Seoul. While the room size is on the smaller side and the front desk staff seemed a bit reserved upon check-in without offering much guidance, the service truly shines during your stay. For instance, after buying snacks from the convenience store near the entrance around 9:30 PM, the shuttle driver kindly offered to deliver them straight to our room—something we hadn’t known about since it wasn’t mentioned at reception. That small gesture made a big difference. And don’t miss the hotel’s ground-floor bakery—it’s widely regarded as Seoul’s top French pastry shop. The pastries are rich, delicate, and absolutely worth a visit. Despite minor initial impressions, the attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the stay make this hotel stand out. Highly recommend for both comfort and convenience.
