Staying right in the heart of Verona made everything so convenient—walking distance to major sights and great public transport access. Check-in and check-out were handled at a nearby
We stayed several nights in a family suite at this property and truly enjoyed our experience. I was initially hesitant due to the limited number of reviews, but it turns out the hotel is connected with a Best Western located just a few doors down—this is where we checked in and had breakfast each morning. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with plenty of space for our family. We chose this location because we had a few day trips planned, and it’s just a short walk to the train station. It’s positioned roughly halfway between Verona’s main tourist area and the station, which worked perfectly for us. That said, I’m giving it four stars only because the price during our Christmas visit was extremely high—higher than what we paid for a stay at the Waldorf in Rome! If rates had been more reasonable, this place would have easily earned five stars. Despite that, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a convenient, comfortable base in Verona.
Just a 3-minute walk from the Verona Arena, this charming B&B is an absolute gem. The entire place feels immaculately clean, and the rooms are beautifully designed with attention to detail—cozy, bright, and full of character. Check-in was seamless and professional, with staff who were attentive and precise without being overbearing. What really stands out is the lovely little bar downstairs—perfect for a relaxed morning breakfast with fresh pastries and coffee while soaking in the local vibe. It’s such a welcoming, homey atmosphere that makes you feel right at ease. For travelers looking for a quiet yet central stay in Verona, this is a top choice. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting.
Our stay at Royal Olympus Verona was a unique experience—definitely not your typical hotel, but surprisingly well-suited for a quick overnight visit with kids. The location is outstanding: just a 3-minute walk from the main square, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and a supermarket right beneath the building that’s open during daytime hours. Getting here from the airport took about 20 minutes by taxi—around €40—easy and convenient. Check-in was smooth thanks to clear instructions sent via WhatsApp video, guiding us through the access process. The room itself was beautiful, with a distinctly Italian charm, large comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning, and a clean, modern bathroom. There’s also a small kitchenette with fridge and basic amenities—perfect for light meals or snacks. That said, this isn’t a hotel in the traditional sense. It’s just a few rooms on the third floor of an apartment building, accessed through a metal side gate, another door, and either three flights of stairs or a very compact elevator—so carrying luggage can be tricky, especially after a late arrival. No front desk means everything is self-service: check-in, key access, even breakfast coordination—all done through WhatsApp. This might not work well for travelers who aren’t confident using smartphones. Also, there’s no place to grab water, drinks, or snacks upon arrival—adding a mini-bar option would be a great improvement. And unfortunately, we couldn’t leave our bags after checkout, so we had to carry them around until breakfast. Despite these quirks, the overall experience was positive. The setting is unbeatable, the room is stylish and clean, and it’s ideal if you’re looking for a quiet, authentic local vibe without the formalities of a full-service hotel.
Staying at 1881 Luxury Suites was an absolute highlight of my trip to Verona. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the iconic Arena di Verona. The property itself feels like a hidden gem—well-maintained, stylish, and full of charm with a perfect blend of historical elegance and modern comfort. Check-in was flexible, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Verona—it’s not just a hotel, it’s a memorable stay you’ll want to repeat.
Absolutely excellent stay! We were two guests, and the room was clean, well-maintained, and just the right size. Breakfast was generous and delicious—great variety and quality. The location is perfect: only a 50-meter walk to the bus stop with line L026 heading straight to Lake Garda—no transfers needed, super convenient. Everything we wanted was within walking distance, from local shops to tourist spots. One big plus: they offer luggage storage, which made our trip much more relaxed, especially when checking out early or arriving late. I’d definitely book here again if we ever return to Verona. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.
Staying at Residenza San Faustino was an absolute delight—truly a hidden gem I’d highly recommend. The location is perfect: just a short walk from Verona’s city center, with easy access to public transit and nearby attractions. The attention to detail throughout the property is impressive—from the cozy, thoughtfully designed rooms to the warm, welcoming staff. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh pastries from a local bakery, served with a generous selection of beverages and snacks in a well-stocked mini-fridge. Everything felt personal and genuinely cared for. I was beyond satisfied with every aspect of my stay. If you're looking for a charming, authentic Italian experience without compromising on comfort or service, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back.
Staying at La Rugolana was an absolute delight from start to finish. The owner greeted us warmly upon arrival, even waiting late into the evening—so thoughtful and welcoming. He took time to explain everything about the room and gave us a great local restaurant recommendation that turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Verona. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a warm, homely feel. What really stood out was the access to a small kitchen downstairs—perfect for preparing light meals or snacks, which added so much convenience. Everything about this place felt personal and well-cared for. It’s not just a bed for the night—it’s a genuine experience. Highly recommended for travelers who value warmth, cleanliness, and authentic local charm.
Staying at B&B Accademia in Verona was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Arena di Verona and the historic city center, making it perfect for exploring on foot. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the entire property felt well-maintained and thoughtfully managed. The rooms were spotless, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, varied, and full of local flavors. We even returned from Calabria specifically for the upcoming opera season, which shows how much we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast starts at 8:30, and they offer flexible luggage storage for early check-in or late check-out—very convenient! While it's an apartment-style unit and soundproofing isn’t perfect, we didn’t experience any bothersome noise from outside. Overall, this place delivers comfort, charm, and great value—definitely a top choice for future visits.
Staying at La Casetta di Lina was an absolute delight. The rooms were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a private bathroom that felt both modern and cozy. Located just a short walk from the historic center of Verona and near convenient parking, it’s perfect for travelers who want to explore the city without hassle. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a small table with a coffee machine and kettle—ideal for a morning pick-me-up. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. What stood out most was the outstanding value for money—everything from comfort to service felt premium without the premium price. A truly memorable stay in a charming, well-kept property.
The entire stay was excellent, especially the location—being just a short walk from Verona’s city center made exploring so convenient. The pre-arrival email was very helpful, clearly outlining every step from check-in to check-out, which eliminated any confusion. The room was spotless, well-designed, and felt spacious and comfortable. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted directly by guests—it required assistance from staff. Despite that small inconvenience, the overall experience was fantastic, and the value for money is outstanding. Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Verona!
Stayed at Limehome Verona la Vigna in Città and was really impressed overall. The apartment is brand new, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s located right in the heart of Verona—super convenient for walking to main attractions and hopping on public transport. That said, sound insulation isn’t great—you can hear neighbors, street noise, and even your own voice from other rooms. This is unfortunately common with Italian apartments, so it’s not entirely unexpected. Lighting is also a bit dimmer than I’d prefer, another typical trait in many Italian rentals. Still, the space itself is lovely—stylish, clean, and thoughtfully designed. For the price and location, it’s an excellent choice. If I’m back in Verona, I’ll definitely book here again.
