She even shared a clever tip: if we couldn’t find a suitable place to eat downtown, there’s a nearby restaurant with a close relationship to the hotel, and the staff can open the park gate for a quick shortcut straight to it. That kind of foresight made our evening so much easier. We also took the hotel’s shuttle to the old town—only the two of us on board—and the driver kindly added an extra stop just to let us snap a photo at a scenic viewpoint before dropping us off at the base of the hill.
