Staying at Puyu Zhongrun Apartment Hotel in Suzhou was an absolute delight—far beyond my expectations! The room was spacious and beautifully designed, offering more comfort than I anticipated for the price. Being just a short walk from the subway station made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Perfect for families—the extra space allowed everyone to move freely without feeling cramped. Free parking is a huge plus, especially if you're traveling by car. The location is excellent too, close to Lifen Shopping Center with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Cleanliness was top-notch; every corner felt fresh and well-maintained. But what truly stood out? The view from the window—it overlooks the Grand Canal, offering serene, picturesque scenes day after day. Waking up to that peaceful river view was pure joy. This place delivers amazing value, comfort, and convenience all in one. I’ll definitely be back!

I booked Cailan Loft Homestay last minute, and honestly, it completely exceeded my expectations! Just a 1-minute walk from Exit A3 of Tuanjieqiao Metro Station—perfect for anyone who struggles with directions. The room was spotless, well-equipped with a washing machine, mini-fridge, and even a small kitchenette—ideal for hanging out with friends. We stayed overnight with a couple of pals, and it felt just like being at home. The cleanliness was impressive, and the host responded super quickly to any questions. Great value, great location, and a really warm stay overall. Definitely coming back next time I visit Suzhou!

Suyuan Hotel

Stayed at Suyuan Hotel during my visit to Suzhou, and I was genuinely impressed. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—when they noticed we had a young child, they proactively offered us a larger twin room with plenty of space, which made our family stay much more comfortable. The room facilities were standard but well-maintained; the bathtub was a big hit with my little one, who spent ages splashing around. The air conditioning worked perfectly—the temperature was just right for autumn, so we didn’t need to crank it up too high. One of the highlights was the large koi pond in the courtyard, where we could buy fish food and feed the colorful fish. My child loved it and couldn’t stop smiling while watching them swim. The entire place was clean and well-kept with no lingering odors or hygiene issues. Overall, this is a great value-for-money option, especially for families. I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Suzhou.

Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou, Wuzhong

The hotel overall is excellent—comfortable rooms, great amenities, and friendly staff. While it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station, it’s manageable and not a major issue. Breakfast was decent with a variety of options, but the coffee and tea were disappointing. The coffee was extremely weak—by far the weakest I’ve had in any hotel stay. The black tea tasted more like colored water than actual tea, and there were no fresh tea bags available for brewing. It really brought down the experience, especially since other aspects of the stay were so positive. That said, the room comfort, cleanliness, and service all exceeded expectations. Definitely worth staying again if they can upgrade the beverage offerings.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic—super convenient for self-driving, with easy access to all major areas. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even though we had to wait a bit during check-in due to a group arrival, the hotel surprised us by offering complimentary breakfast with no extra charge. That was such a thoughtful touch! The room itself is spacious, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. I originally booked without breakfast, but this unexpected upgrade made the experience even better. The overall value is outstanding. Suzhou is already a lovely city, but this hotel truly makes it stand out. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

I've stayed at Wanda Moments Hotel Suzhou Wuzhong multiple times now, and it never fails to impress. The 24-hour self-service fitness center and laundry room are incredibly convenient—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for quick workouts or handling laundry on the go. They even provide different sizes of detergent and disinfectant, which is thoughtful for guests with varying needs. The dryer is a game-changer, especially in Suzhou’s chilly winter weather when clothes take forever to air-dry. After late-night meetings, returning to the hotel feels like coming home—warm, cozy, and they even serve a complimentary night-time porridge. It's their local specialty: sweet red bean and brown sugar congee, comforting and delicious. Athena, one of the staff members, stands out with her friendly, attentive service—always ready to help. I’ll definitely be back for my next trip here.

Tantai Lake Hotel

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. The room is spacious with excellent soundproofing—no noise from outside, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. The blackout curtains are top-notch, and the room matched the online photos perfectly in every detail. The design has a unique, elegant touch that really sets it apart. Located right beside the Grand Canal, the view is serene and picturesque—waking up to the gentle flow of water is such a treat. The breakfast stood out especially—the noodles were handmade and full of character, offering a real local flavor. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully done, from the ambiance to the service. If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway with great value, this hotel is a must-try.

Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel (Suzhou Hualong Tuanjieqiao Metro Station)

This was my fourth visit to Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel in Suzhou, and I can confidently say it’s become my go-to choice for every trip here. The value for money is outstanding, and the location couldn’t be better—right next to Tuanjieqiao Metro Station on Line 4, making travel from the train station a breeze. This time, I drove myself and appreciated the complimentary parking, which made the whole experience even more convenient. The hotel’s new dining area offers a much richer breakfast selection than before, and you get great quality without breaking the bank. My wife used to only stay at five-star hotels, but after retirement, we started budgeting carefully—and during one of our stays here, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-appointed the standard room felt. It easily matched the comfort of many four-star properties we’ve stayed at. Since then, this has been our consistent choice whenever visiting Suzhou. Nearby, there’s a self-service restaurant with clean, fresh food and rotating daily menus—plus, meals are half-price after 7 PM, which is a fantastic deal. I also want to highlight the free laundry room, which comes with detergent and disinfectant spray. It’s such a thoughtful touch, especially when traveling with luggage. Everything about this hotel feels just right—practical, reliable, and genuinely welcoming.
