Staying at Silk Queen Grand Hotel was an absolute delight, especially thanks to Anna Kate and Jacky—two incredibly attentive and friendly staff members who made our trip unforgettable. From check-in to checkout, they went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and genuine care. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located—just a short metro ride from the city center. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtfully designed, from the quiet ambiance to the thoughtful touches in the room. It’s rare to find such excellent service combined with great value. I’d highly recommend this place to any traveler visiting Hanoi, and I’ll definitely be back.
Staying at Conifer Grand Hotel was an absolute delight, especially given its unbeatable location. Just steps away from the hotel, there’s a vibrant street food scene with countless noodle shops and local eateries—perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I loved how easy it was to grab a quick bowl of delicious pho right outside the door, with rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The neighborhood feels alive and authentic, making every meal feel like an adventure. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent value—all contributing to a flawless experience. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.
This hotel deserves every single praise—it’s absolutely outstanding! The service is exceptional, especially thanks to Kevin and Lisen at the front desk. They go above and beyond to meet your needs with genuine warmth and professionalism. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The entire property is spotless and well-maintained, giving a clean, welcoming vibe right away. Breakfast was a highlight—hot eggs and steaming pho were served fresh and delicious, perfect for starting the day. The room itself is spacious, with a huge bed that’s great for stretching out, and the bedding is cozy and warm. The air conditioning works like magic—while it’s sweltering outside at 30°C+, the room stays comfortably cool at around 24–25°C, making it ideal for a restful night’s sleep. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food too—every meal felt special. But what really stands out? Kevin helped us book our entire Sapa trip, even arranging overnight train tickets with personalized adjustments. Not only was he incredibly helpful and friendly, but the pricing was actually more competitive than local agencies we’ve seen. If you’re visiting Hanoi, this is a must-stay. I can’t recommend it enough.
The staff at Mercure Hanoi La Gare were absolutely outstanding—especially one particular team member I’d like to give a shoutout to. I accidentally broke a glass bottle in the room, and instead of charging me or making a fuss, they handled it with kindness and professionalism, even refunding my deposit the same day. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the famous train street, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers great value for money. I’ve already planned my next trip to Hanoi just so I can stay here again. Highly recommend this gem!
Staying at Melia Hanoi was an absolute delight from start to finish. Located right in the heart of the Old Quarter, it’s just a short walk to iconic spots like Hoan Kiem Lake and the bustling streets of the local market—perfect for exploring on foot. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with some recently renovated units featuring modern amenities that really elevate the experience. Staff go above and beyond with warm, professional service—always attentive, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful when needed. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the pool area offers a peaceful retreat. Breakfast is a highlight: a diverse buffet with plenty of options, including halal choices, making it great for all guests. While the hotel is a slight stroll from Hoan Kiem Lake (about 10 minutes), it’s still very walkable and adds to the charm of discovering the neighborhood. Overall, this five-star property delivers exceptional value and comfort—whether you're here for business or leisure. Highly recommended!
Staying at Grand Mercure Hanoi was an absolute delight—cleanliness exceeded all expectations. The entire property and my room were spotless, modern, and well-maintained, with a subtle fresh scent throughout that made the space feel inviting. Even though the room is compact, it’s thoughtfully designed with everything you need—perfect for a one-night stay before heading to Halong Bay. I didn’t get a chance to use many of the hotel amenities, but what I experienced was already impressive. While it's a bit removed from the city center, the quiet location actually works in its favor—no noise disturbances at all. What truly stood out was the surprise wedding anniversary gift: a sweet treat and fresh flowers delivered to my room. For such a reasonable rate, this level of personal touch was incredibly touching. I’ll definitely return to Hanoi and choose this hotel again. A rare gem with heart and value.
Staying at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was an absolute highlight of my trip to Hanoi. The hotel itself is a stunning example of French colonial architecture, with elegant details and timeless charm that immediately set the tone for a memorable experience. Located just a 15-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and the famous 36 Streets, it’s perfect for exploring the heart of the city on foot. The entrance has a dedicated drop-off zone, making it super convenient if you’re arriving by Grab or other rideshare services. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend local restaurants or help plan activities. My room was slightly smaller than your typical international five-star, but incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated in classic French style. It faced the lush garden courtyard, so absolutely quiet—no traffic noise at all, which made for excellent sleep quality. The breakfast buffet was outstanding: fresh, diverse, and thoughtfully presented. I especially loved the egg coffee served in a delicate porcelain cup—it added such a special touch to the morning ritual. This hotel truly offers a unique blend of history, luxury, and genuine hospitality. If I ever return to Hanoi, this will be my first choice without hesitation.
Located just a 10-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, this hotel may look unassuming from the outside, but once you step inside, you’re greeted with elegant and thoughtful design that truly stands out. Despite being in a bustling area, the rooms are surprisingly quiet—perfect for a restful stay. The front door opens right into a popular local Vietnamese eatery, making dining on-site super convenient. Breakfast is a highlight: generous, varied, and delicious. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We stayed for two nights on December 14th and 15th—the rooftop pool was too chilly to swim in, which is understandable this time of year. The gym is located in a closed-off, windowless space with noticeable rubber odor, so we didn’t use it. However, if you don’t rely heavily on fitness or pool access, this place is an excellent choice. With its central location, charming atmosphere, and strong value for money, I’d definitely recommend it to friends. It’s one of those hidden gems that delivers far more than expected.
The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way—great location, convenient access to the city center via metro, and a vibrant atmosphere with many Korean guests. I was initially happy with my booking, but just before check-in, I noticed the price had dropped by 20%. I considered canceling and rebooking for a better rate, but unfortunately, the date I wanted (April 4th) was fully booked. When I reached out to the hotel to request shortening my original stay, they refused any flexibility. To avoid further hassle, I ended up paying an extra $1500 CNY to keep the reservation. It’s frustrating, especially since I’ve stayed at other Somerset properties without issues. This experience felt off—like being misled rather than treated fairly. While the room and service were solid, the lack of transparency and support during a pricing change left a sour taste. Would have loved more flexibility from the team.
I first stayed at this hotel nine years ago and was thoroughly impressed, so I naturally returned again. While the property does show signs of aging in some areas, the service remains exceptional—friendly, attentive, and consistently professional. The ambiance is still one of my favorites: quiet yet centrally located, making it easy to explore Hanoi on foot or by metro. I booked airport transfer through the platform, which arrived on time and took about 45 minutes—smooth and stress-free. The only downside? Limited dining options on-site. There aren’t many restaurants inside the hotel, so you might need to step out for a meal. Still, the overall experience was outstanding. For comfort, service, and location, this hotel continues to deliver great value. Definitely worth staying again.
Staying at Capella Hanoi was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Hanoi—despite not receiving a pre-arrival welcome email, the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew this was going to be special. My Junior Suite was upgraded to a Capella Suite for both nights, and the space was breathtaking—the balcony offered stunning views, and the opulent opera-inspired interiors were perfect for slow, luxurious moments. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome cake and fresh fruit, and all soft drinks and snacks were complimentary. The manual coffee machine was a real treat—no pods, just rich, aromatic coffee made fresh by hand. There’s even a QR code linking to a tutorial video, which added a nice personal touch. Every room came equipped with an iPad, making it easy to schedule housekeeping, dining reservations, and activities—all from the comfort of your suite. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the in-room amenities like the sleep-enhancing tea and sweet mung bean paste were thoughtful little details. The suite was spacious enough to separate work and rest areas seamlessly, and the kids’ toiletries were adorable—plus, they were restocked the next day. Afternoon tea was free, and breakfast was half-buffet with unlimited oysters and steak—seriously great value. While the beef pho wasn’t as impressive as advertised, the red bean pho was absolutely delicious—so fresh and flavorful, it literally brought tears to my eyes. The pool is small but beautifully designed, and as soon as you sit down, refreshments are brought right away. Overall, the experience was exceptional. This is the only hotel in Hanoi I genuinely felt attached to—and I’ll definitely be coming back.
Staying at Champton Hotel Hanoi was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained, but what truly made my visit special was that it coincided with my birthday. The hotel went above and beyond by decorating my room with a sweet birthday touch and even surprised me with a small cake—so thoughtful and heartwarming! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire stay. Even at check-out, they handed me a cup of rich, authentic Vietnamese coffee as a parting gift. It felt like being treated like family. This level of personal care is rare, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be returning and telling everyone about this gem in Hanoi.
