Nestled right in the heart of the tea fields, the resort offers breathtaking views of endless green tea gardens. Along the winding roads, you’ll see local farmers harvesting and processing tea—so authentic and peaceful. The staff were exceptional from start to finish. Front desk agent Xiao Chen was incredibly attentive—when we asked for a better view room, he personally escorted us upstairs to pick one, even upgraded us without hesitation. When we preferred staying in, he brought extra bottled water for brewing tea. The rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning mountain views. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Even the complimentary Longjing tea in the room was fresh and fragrant. Breakfast was simple but delicious—the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the noodles were so good I ended up eating three portions! I requested a late checkout, and when I left, Xiao Chen again went out of his way—bringing water, helping load luggage, and even waiving the fee for a broken glass. That kind of thoughtfulness truly made my stay unforgettable. Yes, some facilities show signs of age, but considering the serene setting, top-tier service, and great value, this resort is absolutely worth it. Getting there was easy—just a short walk from the metro station, following clear signs up a few steps and along a tree-lined path flanked by towering gingko and sycamore trees. You’ll spot the hotel right at the corner of a quiet street. It’s just one stop from Tianmu Li, which is perfect for a full day of exploring: art exhibitions, shopping, great cafes, and Instagram-worthy architecture and nature shots. A few stops further, you can visit Zhejiang University, wetlands, or botanical gardens—all within easy reach. And if you want to head into downtown, it’s only six stops away. Super convenient! The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Definitely worth waking up early for!
