Tongli Lake View Hotel

This has been one of the most satisfying hotel stays I've had in years. From the moment I booked, a staff member reached out proactively to understand my needs—something that instantly set the tone for an exceptional experience. Upon arrival, Xiao Qiu was incredibly helpful, patiently guiding me through room selection and even arranging two connecting rooms that perfectly suited our family. Though the hotel opened in 2004 and shows a bit of age on the outside, the interior is well-maintained and recently renovated last year—no lingering construction smell at all. The rooms are modern, clean, and fully equipped, with standout features like the electric towel warmer that everyone loved. Dining options were excellent too—the breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, and the pool water was crystal clear. The view from Daguanyuan at night was breathtaking, almost worth the trip on its own. One unexpected highlight? Free photography service included in the stay. The three professionally edited photos turned out beautifully, and my family still talk about them. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Every single person we met—from front desk to housekeeping—was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Their level of hospitality far exceeded what I’ve experienced at many international luxury chains. Special thanks to Xiao Qiu (Sales), Xiao Wei (Chinese Restaurant), Xiao Yao (Concierge), Wang Zhi (Housekeeping), and all the other friendly faces who made our stay so memorable. To my delight, I was upgraded to a deluxe suite on New Year’s Day, which felt like a dream gift. Special thanks to the front desk team, especially Xiao Lu, for such a thoughtful touch. Stepping into the room, my partner couldn’t stop saying ‘wow’—the panoramic view of Jinji Lake flooded the space with natural light, while the warm interior made it feel cozy and luxurious. The pool is perfect for both adults and kids, with great facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. And the private walkway? A photographer’s paradise—endless opportunities for stunning shots. The front desk staff, Sawyer, was exceptionally friendly and professional, offering thoughtful travel tips that made our trip much smoother. From the location to the service, every detail was outstanding. This stay exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely be back.
