Check-in on the 26th was a mixed experience. The first front desk agent was rather unhelpful—when I casually asked if late check-out was possible, she said no without hesitation. Honestly, it wasn’t a big deal; just a quick question. But then she insisted on taking my phone to 'bind the booking information,' which caught me off guard since I’ve never seen that done before. She spent quite some time fiddling with my device, and only later did I realize she’d claimed a new guest welcome coupon for me—no warning, no confirmation. When I checked Huazhu Hui afterward, I found out the breakfast voucher had already been used (and I didn’t even know about it), and my new member discount was gone. Felt a bit taken advantage of. On the bright side, my room was upgraded to a family suite. It’s located right next to the elevator, but the door is narrow—someone slightly larger might struggle to get through. Room amenities are average, and the window area looks worn. The biggest issue? Terrible sound insulation. I couldn’t hear any voices from adjacent rooms or the hallway (which is good—guests were respectful), but the constant hum of the air conditioner and street traffic made sleep nearly impossible. Every time I was drifting off, a loud car engine would blast by, instantly waking me up. I went to bed at 10 PM, but woke up at 8 AM to see only 4 hours of sleep logged—so frustrating. I was ready to leave a negative review… until the next day when I met a completely different front desk staff. This person was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. When I asked again about late check-out, they immediately agreed—perfect timing, as it gave me space to grab a meal nearby before heading back. That kind gesture made all the difference. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just a short walk from the metro station, with shopping malls, local eateries, and major attractions like Bell Tower right nearby. We were able to explore the city easily without needing to travel far. Even the little touch of a complimentary gift from the staff (a half-sized souvenir) added a warm, personal feel. Overall, this place offers unbeatable convenience, comfort, and value—highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

Courtyard by Marriott Xi'an North

We’ve stayed at Blue Sea Wind before and had an excellent experience, so when we planned a trip to Xi’an with our parents, this was our top choice. We booked two nights in a Club Room on a higher floor—great views of the city skyline, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The Club Lounge served delicious food with a nice variety, especially the afternoon tea spread—well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. Special thanks to Xiao Ma and Bella, who were incredibly helpful from the start. They offered useful travel tips and guidance well before arrival, and their warm, attentive service continued throughout our stay. The hotel is just steps away from the metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city center without hassle. Our parents were particularly impressed by the room comfort and cleanliness—they said it felt like home. Overall, the quality of service, location, and amenities exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel we’ll return to, and one we highly recommend to fellow travelers.

Yongchang Hotel

I just have to rave about Crystal at the front desk of Yongchang Hotel in Xi'an—her service was genuinely exceptional! From check-in, she proactively shared helpful details about the room and even reminded us of breakfast time and location. What truly blew me away was that all beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary—no extra charges at all. The room itself was spotless, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and high-quality bathroom amenities. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. And let’s talk about the fourth-floor pool and gym—accessible for free with our room key. The pool water was crystal clear, fresh, and completely odor-free, making it perfect for a refreshing swim. Afterward, I hit the gym and loved the clean, well-equipped space. It’s rare to find such thoughtful touches and excellent facilities in one place. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Xi’an—highly recommend this hotel!

Located just steps from Longshouyuan Metro Station, getting around the city was incredibly convenient. Xi'an itself is full of charm: the Terracotta Warriors left us speechless with their scale and detail, the ancient city walls offered a powerful sense of history, and the food in Huimin District was rich, authentic, and unforgettable. From start to finish, every moment felt special. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi'an—truly deserving of a perfect score!
