This recent four-night stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. On sunny days, I loved walking around the quiet courtyard—it’s peaceful and full of charm. The staff were incredibly attentive: someone guided me to park, and others helped with luggage without being asked. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with great variety. Just steps away is Xincheng Square—perfect for a morning stroll among the friendly pigeons. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach Muslim Quarter (Beiyuanmen) and even walk straight to Bell Tower. There’s also a small museum inside the Sofitel Legend building that shares the rich history of the original Renmin Building, including photos of famous visitors over the years. It’s like staying in a living piece of history. With its unbeatable location, warm hospitality, and unique heritage vibe, this hotel offers amazing value. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff greeted us with warm welcome tea—during winter, they even offered a soothing pear and rock sugar drink to help with dryness. They also provided little kid-sized slippers, which my children loved. Room service was prompt, and everything arrived quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I have to say the fried eggs were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The hotel has a free parking lot, which made exploring the city by car super convenient. We were disappointed we couldn’t get tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum—it’s notoriously hard to book—but the front desk staff immediately suggested some great alternative attractions that were perfect for families. Staying at Xian YinAn Hotel (Zhonglou Hui Min Street Branch) was an absolute surprise—way beyond what I expected! The location is unbeatable: just an 8-minute walk from Zhonglou Metro Station, making it super easy to explore the city. Check-in was fast and friendly—the staff were smiling throughout, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The room itself was spot-on: a spacious desk with perfectly balanced ambient lighting, ideal for working or relaxing. But the real highlight? The bedding. The mattress had just the right firmness, and they offered both memory foam and buckwheat pillows—my personal dream setup. I fell asleep instantly and slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of options, including authentic Xi’an-style Sāozi Miàn, plus fresh coffee and juice. Filled me up and ready to hit the streets. Plus, they gave us a thoughtful local-themed gift pack—small touches that really elevate the stay. If I come back to Xi’an, this will be my top pick without hesitation.

Fusen City Hotel

I absolutely loved this hotel—every aspect exceeded my expectations! The lobby is warm and inviting, not at all cold or corporate like many business hotels. The greenery and soft lighting create a cozy atmosphere right from the moment you walk in. Every public area was spotless with no unpleasant odors—really impressive cleanliness. The smart heated toilet was a total game-changer; it’s not something you’d expect at this price point, but it made my stay so much more comfortable. I stayed in a small room solo, and even though it was compact, it was well-designed, clean, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming—always smiling, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. It felt personal, not just transactional. I’ll definitely come back to try a different room type. This place truly delivers exceptional value and comfort. Highly recommend!

Staying here was the most pleasant surprise on my business trip! The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, making it super easy to get around the city and visit attractions. The room was incredibly quiet, with excellent soundproofing so I barely heard any hallway noise—perfect for working or relaxing. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond, always leaving everything neatly arranged. Even when we called for an extra pillow late at night, it arrived within minutes with a kind smile. A truly memorable stay with attention to every little detail.

Novotel Xi an The Bell Tower Hotel

Staying at Novotel Xi'an The Bell Tower Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Exit H of Bell Tower Metro Station, and it's only one stop to Guangji Station for easy access to the bustling Muslim Quarter. Step outside and you're face-to-face with the iconic Bell Tower—perfect for photos and soaking in the historic vibe. The staff, from security to front desk and laundry team, were all friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was fantastic—daily rotating menu with fresh, diverse options that kept us excited every morning. My parents especially loved the afternoon tea service; after a long day of exploring, returning to a cozy corner with a warm drink and light bites was pure bliss. This hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Xi’an—and I’ll definitely be back.

Platinum wan'ao Victory Hotel

Our 8-day self-drive trip across Shaanxi ended with a stay at Platinum Wan'ao Victory Hotel in Xi'an, and overall, it was an excellent choice. The location is incredibly convenient—right across from Hepingmen Metro Station, just a 50-meter walk away, making public transit access seamless for exploring the city. The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Breakfast was decent but not particularly impressive by luxury hotel standards—nothing overly elaborate, and we didn’t receive a third breakfast for our parents, which was slightly disappointing since this was one of only two hotels on the entire trip that didn’t offer it. Still, considering the excellent location, helpful staff, room comfort, and overall value, it’s hard not to give high praise. For travelers prioritizing convenience and a solid base in central Xi’an, this hotel is a strong recommendation.

Hyatt Regency Xi'an

Staying at Hyatt Regency Xi'an was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room offered a stunning view of South Lake, with wide-open spaces that made every morning feel peaceful and refreshing. The value for money was outstanding—everything from the ambiance to the service exceeded expectations. Breakfast was a real highlight: diverse, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. Every item tasted fresh and authentic—not just there for show. I especially loved the oat milk coffee; it was rich, smooth, and totally worth trying. The hotel’s facilities are top-notch, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything felt clean, modern, and inviting. Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive—shoutout to Cindy for going above and beyond. Her kindness made the stay even more memorable. If you're visiting Xi'an, this is definitely a place worth staying at. I’ll be back!
