Staying at Kensington Hotel Yeouido was a perfect choice for my trip to Seoul, especially since I was attending a concert at Gocheok Dome. Though some facilities feel a bit dated, the overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage, which came in handy. Room service was attentive and thoughtful. Despite minor wear, the location, comfort, and hospitality make this hotel a great value—definitely a place I’d return to.

Breakfast could use some improvement—it’s quite limited in variety, offering only a few basic options. A bit more diversity would go a long way. Still, considering the location, service, and value, this is a solid choice for travelers looking for a convenient and reliable base in Seoul.

I heard there’s also a food alley behind the hotel, but we were too exhausted to explore it. Across the street is an OY store, perfect for grabbing essentials. Airport buses drop you off right at the door, and returning to the airport is just as smooth—just walk straight from McDonald’s to the bus stop across the street. Front desk staff speak English, and one gentleman even speaks Chinese, so communication was never an issue. They don’t provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, but those are available at the lobby shop. The bath amenities? Absolutely top-notch. My hair felt soft and silky after washing—probably thanks to the local water quality, though I didn’t get the brand name. Overall, this place hits all the right notes: comfort, convenience, great location, and excellent value. Highly recommend!

Daily housekeeping made the stay even more comfortable. The only minor downside was the sound insulation—some noise from neighboring rooms came through, but it didn’t disrupt our rest significantly. For the price and location, this place offers great value. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul’s vibrant Hongdae area.
