Staying at Orange Kunming Railway Station Hotel was a great experience. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and the street in front is full of local eateries and small shops—super lively and convenient for grabbing a bite anytime. Inside, the room design is clean and modern with good lighting and spacious layout. The TV supports screen mirroring, which made watching movies or shows really enjoyable. The bathroom features a well-designed wet-dry separation, and there’s plenty of room to move around—no cramped feeling. I was especially impressed by the free laundry facilities: two washing machines and two dryers, perfect for longer stays. Getting to the airport by taxi takes about 30 minutes, which is very reasonable. The only minor downside is that soundproofing isn’t ideal—some noise from neighboring rooms can be heard—but overall, the place is quiet at night, so it didn’t affect my sleep. All in all, fantastic value for money and highly recommend for travelers passing through Kunming.
