Atour Hotel, North Square, Kunming Railway Station

Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I stayed at Atour Hotel near Kunming Railway Station and was really impressed—especially the bedding. The pillows are so comfortable that I always ask for the foam ones instead of relying on fancy feather pillows from five-star hotels. We booked a family room with a 1.8m queen bed and a 1.2m single bed—perfect fit for my two daughters, who had plenty of space to sleep comfortably. The outdoor swing was a real highlight; even though we didn’t have much time to play, the kids were thrilled and couldn’t stop smiling. Staying here was ideal for our trip around New Year’s, as it’s just steps away from the train station. We checked out at 8:30 AM and still made our 9:00 train to Dali without rushing—though we originally thought we’d need to leave by 8:15, the extra half hour made all the difference. For families traveling with kids, this kind of flexibility is a big plus!

住咗一晚昆明廣福路海樂世界亞朵酒店，整體體驗真係好唔錯！房間裝修簡約又舒服，空間感十足，環境清靜得來仲有種家嘅感覺。服務態度超級熱情，入住時已經主動問有冇小朋友，即刻準備好多兒童用品，包括拖鞋、牙刷，連夜裡都送左杯牛奶，細心到令人感動。早餐選擇多，味道亦唔錯，日日都有新鮮感。最驚喜係退房時竟然送左小禮物，實在好有心意！唯一小小不足就係出門那條路有時會塞車，不過等一陣就通了，影響唔大。樓下雞腿真係銷魂，香脆多汁，食過一次就難忘，下次一定再來！」},{

Atour Hotel, Nanyuecheng, Dianchi Resort, Kunming

Staying at Atour Hotel in Nanyuecheng, Dianchi Resort, Kunming was an absolute highlight of my trip. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable—plus, I was upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost, which was such a nice surprise. The bed was perfect: supportive yet cozy, making for a restful night's sleep. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel truly welcome throughout the stay. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—plenty of dining options within walking distance, and just a short stroll from Hai'gen Dam and Haihong Wetland Park. I spent mornings enjoying the peaceful views by the lake and evenings exploring nearby restaurants. This is already my second visit, and I’ve decided this will be my go-to hotel whenever I come back to Kunming. Excellent value, top-notch service, and a genuine sense of relaxation. Wuyi Meisu Hotel

I was genuinely impressed with every aspect of this hotel. The staff at the front desk were incredibly professional and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our family suite was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed—comfortable beds, modern decor, and excellent lighting. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Kunming Railway Station, making travel to and from the city effortless. Plus, Wanda Plaza is right next door, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within easy reach. My kids absolutely loved the room size and had a great time exploring the area. With its perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel exceeded our expectations. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Kunming.

Kai Wah Plaza Hotel

Staying at Kai Wah Plaza Hotel in Kunming was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was drawn to the unique Hong Kong-inspired retro ambiance—warm, stylish, and full of character. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially Li Jiao, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and promptly addressed any requests. Check-in was smooth and fast, and my room was spacious, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway despite being in a bustling area. The location is fantastic—just steps away from metro stations, bus stops, and taxis, making it easy to explore the city. I also appreciated the complimentary parking; simply informing the front desk about my vehicle details made the process seamless. On checkout, someone even helped carry my luggage—small touches that really matter. Even ordering food delivery was hassle-free, as the concierge brought it straight up to my door. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming.

Harmony Hotel, Shuangqiao Night Market, Kunming Convention and Exhibition Center

Staying at Harmony Hotel was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Shuangqiao Night Market, everything is within walking distance—great for exploring local food stalls and hopping between shops. The hotel itself is spotless, with clean rooms and well-maintained facilities. As someone who’s particular about hygiene, I was really impressed—the bedding felt fresh, and the bathroom was immaculate. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and polite, speaking softly and making me feel welcome throughout my stay. While the location near a bustling night market means it can get a bit noisy at night (especially during New Year’s Eve), it didn’t interfere with sleep—just enough ambiance to add character to the experience. One highlight? The nearby dessert shop’s lava cheese cake—it’s absolutely delicious, warm, rich, and worth a special trip. If you’re staying here, don’t miss it. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I’d definitely come back if I visit Kunming again.

Hong He Hotel

It’s been a while since my last stay here, and I’m genuinely impressed! Every corner of the hotel, from the lobby to the room, is well-maintained and feels fresh—almost like it just opened. The amenities are modern, functional, and spotless, which makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. What stands out most is how clean and thoughtfully kept everything is. I love coming back here not just for the comfort, but also for the convenience—being just steps away from the train station via metro is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-kept place with great value, this is definitely worth considering.
