The location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the bustling Datang Fubin Night Market, the Chang’an Twelve Hours experience, and the beautiful Daming Palace Park. No need for taxis; everything is within easy reach on foot. I was there during my birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond—surprised me with a delicious cake and even decorated the room with care. It felt truly special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options, including authentic local favorites like lamb stewed bread (yang rou pao mo), meat-filled buns (rou jia mo), Biangbiang noodles, and Zengao. Plus, the garden features two gorgeous peacocks that stroll around peacefully—perfect for photos. The room itself was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with soft bedding and complimentary sleep aids like herbal pillows and sachets. The view outside the window was stunning, especially at night when the Big Wild Goose Pagoda lights up. I’d definitely come back again. Special shoutout to service staff Bingyue—so friendly, helpful, and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi'an!

We stayed at Mehood Hotel (Xi'an Dayan Pagoda Great Tang All Day Mall Branch) during the off-season with our kids, and it was a fantastic experience overall. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff greeted us with warm welcome tea—during winter, they even offered a soothing pear and rock sugar drink to help with dryness. They also provided little kid-sized slippers, which my children loved. Room service was prompt, and everything arrived quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I have to say the fried eggs were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The hotel has a free parking lot, which made exploring the city by car super convenient. We were disappointed we couldn’t get tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum—it’s notoriously hard to book—but the front desk staff immediately suggested some great alternative attractions that were perfect for families. Their recommendations were thoughtful and helpful. With its excellent location near the Tang Paradise area, friendly staff, and attention to detail, this hotel offers incredible value. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the action with countless authentic Xi’an street food options just steps away. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Huan Guang Gate Wall, and nearby Xiananmen Morning Market was closed during our visit (a bit disappointing), but getting to Sa Jin Qiao by taxi cost just the base fare. Despite being tucked into a lively alleyway, the guesthouse is remarkably quiet—perfect for a restful stay. Our family room was spacious, with a cozy balcony perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. We were stuck indoors due to constant rain throughout the National Day holiday, so we couldn’t visit many attractions—but honestly, we didn’t mind at all. The atmosphere here made it feel like home. The host, a kind young man, went above and beyond with his warmth and attention to detail. I’m truly sorry if my kids caused any disturbance to other guests—I appreciate your understanding. I couldn’t be happier with my stay at Mancheng Homestay! The room was spotless and thoughtfully arranged—furniture neatly placed, bedding soft yet supportive, and the mattress had just the right firmness for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean, well-maintained, and featured smart dry-wet separation. Hot water came consistently and the shower pressure was perfect—not too strong, not too weak. All amenities like the hairdryer, air conditioning, and TV worked flawlessly, adding real comfort to the experience. What truly stood out was the location: walking distance to both Tang Paradise and the lively Night City area. I spent my days exploring the beautiful gardens of Tang Paradise and evenings enjoying vibrant street lights, live performances, and local food stalls in the Night City. After a full day of sightseeing, strolling back to the hotel felt peaceful and effortless. Easy access to public transit made everything even more convenient. This is definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Xi’an.

Novotel Xi an The Bell Tower Hotel

Staying at Novotel Xi'an The Bell Tower Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Exit H of Bell Tower Metro Station, and it's only one stop to Guangji Station for easy access to the bustling Muslim Quarter. Step outside and you're face-to-face with the iconic Bell Tower—perfect for photos and soaking in the historic vibe. The staff, from security to front desk and laundry team, were all friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was fantastic—daily rotating menu with fresh, diverse options that kept us excited every morning. My parents especially loved the afternoon tea service; after a long day of exploring, returning to a cozy corner with a warm drink and light bites was pure bliss. This hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Xi’an—and I’ll definitely be back.

Platinum wan'ao Victory Hotel

Our 8-day self-drive trip across Shaanxi ended with a stay at Platinum Wan'ao Victory Hotel in Xi'an, and overall, it was an excellent choice. The location is incredibly convenient—right across from Hepingmen Metro Station, just a 50-meter walk away, making public transit access seamless for exploring the city. The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Breakfast was decent but not particularly impressive by luxury hotel standards—nothing overly elaborate, and we didn’t receive a third breakfast for our parents, which was slightly disappointing since this was one of only two hotels on the entire trip that didn’t offer it. Still, considering the excellent location, helpful staff, room comfort, and overall value, it’s hard not to give high praise. For travelers prioritizing convenience and a solid base in central Xi’an, this hotel is a strong recommendation.

Hyatt Regency Xi'an

Staying at Hyatt Regency Xi'an was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room offered a stunning view of South Lake, with wide-open spaces that made every morning feel peaceful and refreshing. The value for money was outstanding—everything from the ambiance to the service exceeded expectations. Breakfast was a real highlight: diverse, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. Every item tasted fresh and authentic—not just there for show. I especially loved the oat milk coffee; it was rich, smooth, and totally worth trying. The hotel’s facilities are top-notch, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything felt clean, modern, and inviting. Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive—shoutout to Cindy for going above and beyond. Her kindness made the stay even more memorable. If you're visiting Xi'an, this is definitely a place worth staying at. I’ll be back!

Gran Melia Xi'an

Staying at Gran Melia Xi'an was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel's design is elegant without being overly flashy—very refined and modern. Our Huanxiang Suite, measuring 103 square meters, felt spacious and airy, making it incredibly comfortable for our family stay. The bedding was plush and fresh with no strange odors, and the housekeeping staff were consistently attentive—daily cleaning, plus a second tidy-up in the evening, which made a big difference. The staff on the executive floor were especially memorable: warm, patient, and genuinely thoughtful. They greeted my child by name each time and even brought over two small packs of chips just because he liked them—such a sweet, personal touch. The executive lounge snacks were also excellent—on our first night, when we were rushing to get ready, I stopped by for a quick bite. There was a good variety of options, and everything felt fresh and well-curated. Location-wise, this hotel is unbeatable—just across from the Tang Paradise Garden, a short walk to the lively Tang Dynasty Night Market, and close to Qujiang Book City. Everything is pedestrian-friendly, which is perfect for exploring the area at your own pace. The concierge at the lobby was outstanding—professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. A few words were enough for him to understand exactly what I needed, living up to the Gold Key reputation. Overall, while it might not be the flashiest hotel in town, the service quality ranks among the top I've experienced. It’s calm, respectful, and deeply considerate—everyone knows their role and executes it flawlessly. That level of consistency is rare. One small suggestion: please extend breakfast service a bit longer. We arrived around 10:30, and the serving station had already been cleared—plates and tongs were gone—even though food was still available. It left latecomers stranded without tools to serve themselves. A minor fix, but would make a big difference. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!
