Staying at JI Hotel Kunming Dianchi Road was an absolutely outstanding experience—far beyond my expectations. While it’s not the newest version of the property, cleanliness is top-notch: the room was spotless, fresh-smelling, and meticulously maintained, making for a truly comfortable stay. What stood out most was the exceptional service from frontline staff member Sun Yi. From check-in to late-night troubleshooting, her kindness, patience, and attention to detail made all the difference. She greeted me warmly, answered every question thoughtfully, and even took time to recommend authentic local dishes when I was unsure what to order for dinner—no rush, no hesitation, just genuine care. When I had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi in the room, she responded promptly, resolved the issue efficiently, and did so with a smile throughout. Her professionalism and warmth left a lasting impression. Breakfast was well-rounded with a variety of options—nutritious and satisfying. The location is perfect: close to dining spots, public transport, and attractions, making exploration effortless. No complaints whatsoever. With such excellent value and heartfelt service, this hotel earns every bit of praise. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Kunming—and special thanks again to Sun Yi for making my stay unforgettable.

Staying at Ji Hotel Kunming Huochezhan North Square was an absolutely fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the train station, and right next to plenty of local restaurants and shops. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials. The bed was comfortable, and the quiet environment made for a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the staff—especially the front desk guy, who was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. He went the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout the hotel, from the rooms to the common areas. It’s clear they take pride in their standards. For the price, this is excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kunming—and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Even after settling in, she remained attentive and ready to assist with any request. The hotel boasts both an indoor heated pool and an outdoor pool, plus a relaxing hot spring—perfect for kids and families looking to unwind. The atmosphere is serene, the facilities are top-notch, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort. Highly recommend this hotel for a stress-free, enjoyable getaway!

Kai Wah Plaza Hotel

Check-in was smooth and fast, and my room was spacious, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway despite being in a bustling area. The location is fantastic—just steps away from metro stations, bus stops, and taxis, making it easy to explore the city. I also appreciated the complimentary parking; simply informing the front desk about my vehicle details made the process seamless. On checkout, someone even helped carry my luggage—small touches that really matter. Even ordering food delivery was hassle-free, as the concierge brought it straight up to my door. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming.

Grand Park Kunming

Staying just one night, but it felt like a perfect escape. The location is fantastic—easy access to downtown by metro, and best of all, no crowds at all. Traveling off-peak truly lets you enjoy the city at your own pace. The service here was exceptional, especially from Alan at reception. He upgraded my room for free upon check-in, and when I mentioned wanting to try the sauna, he not only confirmed we had a private steam room but went the extra mile to arrange it just for me. Turns out the facility is usually only opened when there are guests booking in, so having it reserved exclusively for me was a real surprise—and a wonderful touch. It made the whole experience feel personal and special. Definitely worth every penny, and I’ll be back.
