Every detail screamed quality and intention. We checked into a standard room, but even the room tour felt like an experience—each cabinet and drawer revealed thoughtful touches: a golf cart model, a vintage hourglass, curated books. These aren’t just decorative items; they reflect the hotel’s unique personality and attention to storytelling. The amenities were top-tier—thick, plush slippers, a 17g mid-size Colgate toothpaste, and a wooden comb. Simple things, but so well executed, it made a real emotional impact. Breakfast was an absolute highlight. So much variety, so much flavor—my stomach really couldn’t handle it all! The live stations were impressive, especially the handmade wontons by Auntie Sun. Her warmth was infectious, and the wontons? Thin wrappers, generously stuffed with hand-ground meat that was springy and juicy—clearly made fresh, not mass-produced. The pool was massive, deep enough (around 1.4m), and kept at a perfect 30°C—ideal for winter swimming. At night, it felt almost private, like we had the whole space to ourselves. The dry sauna was spacious, well-ventilated, and completely quiet—no distractions. Even the shower and vanity areas used the same high-end products and appliances as the bedroom—zero compromises. Bonus: the complimentary 30-minute golf session at the practice range. As a complete beginner, I surprised myself with how well I did—fun, engaging, and genuinely memorable. This hotel is absolutely incredible! The location is perfect—just a 100-meter walk from the exit of Fuzimiao Metro Station, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions like Fuzimiao, the Imperial Examination Museum, and the Gongyuan. The entire property exudes a charming old-style Republican-era vibe with thoughtful details everywhere. Staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—from complimentary fruit and face masks to free refills on mineral water, a little gift upon checkout, postcards, and even stamps! You can even stamp your own postcard with the hotel’s unique cultural design and send it off. It’s such a fun, memorable touch. I truly can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a hidden gem with exceptional value. Definitely planning to come back, and if there’s any discount available next time, that would be amazing!

My stay at VOCO Nanjing Oriental Pearl Hotel during the Christmas season was absolutely fantastic! 🎄 The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to explore the city or get to work. I booked through a platform and got an amazing value-for-money package that exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding—diverse options with excellent taste and quality, definitely a highlight of the trip. A special shoutout to Jane at the front desk; her service was warm, patient, and genuinely attentive—truly deserving of a perfect score. Even before check-in, she called to confirm details, which showed such thoughtful care. Every aspect of the experience was top-notch. I’d highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again soon!

The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing

This stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing was absolutely top-tier—hands down the best hotel experience I've had in China. I chose this property for my trip to Nanjing, and booking through the platform with their suite package for two days under $600 was an incredible value. The executive lounge offered five meals a day—basically endless dining, which made every day feel like a feast. Right downstairs is deji shopping mall, so you can stroll from room to store without stepping outside into the cold. Even on freezing days, I just wore my own slippers, a T-shirt, and a light shawl—perfect for a relaxed shopping spree. Everything I wanted was available, no need to wander far. The only minor downside? A few front desk staff weren’t as attentive when checking in, but everyone else—from housekeeping to concierge—was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The housekeeping team, in particular, were so cheerful and proactive, adding a bright energy to the whole visit. It was such a joyful two days, and I’d absolutely return without hesitation.

Staying at Jinling Mandarin Garden Hotel Nanjing was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a better room without any request, which immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. With a young child and elderly family member traveling with us, getting up early for breakfast was tough. The hotel kindly packed a breakfast box and brought it straight to our room—such a lifesaver! The next morning, the restaurant manager even remembered us and proactively offered to prepare a special breakfast for our little one. That level of personal care truly touched me. Every staff member we encountered—from the security team and bell staff to the front desk and housekeeping managers—was polite, efficient, and went out of their way to help. The room managers, Li and Fan, responded instantly to any need, and the dining team led by Manager Wang Yan and Wu Li made sure every detail was perfect. Even at checkout, they surprised my child with a cute fridge magnet as a farewell gift. This is the kind of hotel that makes you feel like family. A true gem in Nanjing—exceptional service, great location, and unforgettable hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at in N&S MEN DONG Hotel was such a delightful experience from the moment I walked in. The aesthetic is absolutely charming—minimalist yet warm, with a cozy atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. I was greeted by two adorable blue cats, Xiao Nan and Xiao Bei—Xiao Nan’s a bit leaner, while Xiao Bei has a rounder, cuddly frame. They added such a personal touch to the stay! The service was incredibly thoughtful; ordering takeout was seamless, and it was delivered straight to my room without any hassle. Even though the hotel sits just one wall away from the lively vibe of Old Gate East, it remained surprisingly quiet at night and peaceful during the day—no noise pollution whatsoever. The scent upon entering was subtle but inviting, like fresh linen and woodsy notes blending together. One small but brilliant detail: even when I left the room without my key card, the central air conditioning kept running, maintaining a perfectly consistent temperature throughout. That kind of attention to comfort really shows how much care goes into every little detail. This place isn’t just a hotel—it feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm, stylish retreat in the heart of Nanjing.
