Staying at the Atour Hotel in North Bund was a fantastic choice for my trip to Shanghai. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Raffle Mall and easily accessible via subway, making it convenient for exploring the area. Unlike the crowded Bund, North Bund offers a more relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views, ideal for photography without the crowds. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent service. Even though the price isn’t cheap, the overall experience absolutely justifies it. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Location-wise, it's perfect—just a short walk to the North Bund and metro access makes exploring Shanghai effortless. Restaurants and shops are all around, so convenience is top-notch. I stayed at Ji Hotel (Shanghai Tongji University Xinhua Hospital) and overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained—simple but functional design that made it comfortable for a short stay. One minor downside was the non-electric toilet, which might be due to the hotel's age, but I appreciated the presence of an air purifier, especially since it's near a hospital and helps maintain better indoor air quality. Cleanliness was good—the bedding was fresh, and there were no noticeable odors or dirt. The only issue was some noise from the neighboring guest late at night, including sudden loud shouts, which was a bit disruptive. I’d suggest the hotel consider enforcing quiet hours during nighttime to ensure a better rest for guests. Despite that, the location is very convenient, especially for medical visits, and the value for money is excellent. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I return to Shanghai.

The room was spotless, bright, and well-ventilated with a large window that made the space feel open and airy—no stuffiness at all. The bedding was exceptionally clean, soft, and comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. All amenities worked perfectly without any glitches throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great local tips and assistance with transportation. Located just about 5 kilometers from the Bund, it’s super convenient to reach by subway—just a few stops away. And the breakfast? Outstanding! A wide variety of dishes, delicious flavors, beautifully presented—truly a feast for the senses. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the overall value for money is fantastic. I’d definitely book here again.

Ocean Hotel Shanghai

We booked three rooms for our family trip, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel staff went above and beyond—our rooms were upgraded for free, which was a wonderful surprise. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows provided exceptional comfort, making for a restful night’s sleep. One minor issue was that the fabric sofa in the room looked a bit worn and needed cleaning. On one occasion, the housekeeping staff seemed slightly impatient when helping with a light fixture issue, but this didn’t overshadow the great service we received elsewhere. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and always eager to help. We loved how close the hotel is to the metro station—just a short walk away—and right across the street is a large shopping mall, perfect for dining and browsing. Unfortunately, we were too tired after late-night outings to try out the pool or gym, but we’ll definitely make time next visit. If you’re planning a trip to Shanghai, I’d highly recommend Ocean Hotel Shanghai—it’s convenient, comfortable, and offers fantastic value.

Gem Flower Hotel

The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Bund and North Bund area, with great access to public transit. The room was bright, spacious, and impeccably clean, with modern amenities that made our stay very comfortable. What truly stood out was the staff’s exceptional service—especially Miss Luo and Xiao Gong, who went above and beyond to care for us as senior guests. They were attentive, warm, and genuinely concerned about our comfort, asking thoughtful questions and making sure we had everything we needed. It felt like coming home. From the welcoming atmosphere to the personalized attention, this hotel exceeded all expectations. We’re already planning to return and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Stayed at Shanghai Prodor Hotel and was absolutely impressed! The facilities are brand new and incredibly well-designed—way more modern and stylish than the older luxury hotels near the Bund. The room was spotless, and the overall environment was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The view of the river is stunning—breathtaking, especially in the morning light. Staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive; they even delivered our takeout right to our door with no hassle. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile. This place offers an unbeatable combination of comfort, ambiance, and service. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.
