Our trip across China ended in Hainan, and we chose the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Sanya Bay as our final stop—what a perfect choice. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade from the Ramada to a family suite, and we’re especially grateful to our dedicated concierge, Joan Chen, whose warm care and thoughtful attention made our stay even more memorable. The hotel truly reflects the brand’s signature elegance. The room view is stunning—same breathtaking sea and pool vistas as the standard rooms—but our upgraded suite featured a spacious balcony with an unobstructed view of the pool below. The family room itself was impressively large, spotlessly clean with no overlooked corners. With two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer, it was incredibly convenient for a multi-generational family visit. Staff service stood out across the board—everyone, from housekeeping to gardeners, was courteous and professional. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both extensive and high-quality, offering a wide variety of dishes that would take days to fully explore. Public restrooms were immaculately maintained. One highlight: the lifeguard at the pool noticed our young kids and immediately offered free swim rings—such a sweet gesture. The outdoor buffet area was lively with live acoustic music, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Our little star, Baby Bear, absolutely fell in love with Sanya the moment we arrived! As a Black Diamond Partner, I can confidently say the resort’s scenery is absolutely breathtaking—endless blue sky meeting endless sea, truly unmatched. I’ve been here before three years ago and still remember the stunning infinity pool on the rooftop with its panoramic ocean view. This time around, as soon as we checked in, we headed straight up to the rooftop pool—just like old times. The view? Pure magic. It’s exactly what you imagine when you think of 'living by the sea.' Our entire stay was taken care of by Zoe, who was attentive, warm, and always ready to help. But it wasn’t just her—every department we interacted with, from housekeeping and front desk to concierge, pool staff, photography team, and even maintenance (if I missed anyone, my apologies!), made us feel genuinely welcomed and cherished. And then there’s the food—especially the local Hou’an noodles. Rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked—this dish deserves to be a signature on the menu. From the views to the service to the food, everything exceeded expectations. A perfect blend of comfort, charm, and authenticity. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed here as a family of three, and the hotel generously upgraded us to a family suite—such a thoughtful touch! Arriving late at night, I was worried about disturbing our baby during evening routines, but the suite’s private door separation made everything smooth and stress-free. Perfect for families or groups traveling together, and the value for money is outstanding. The room was immaculately clean with no unpleasant odors—very reassuring. The service truly stood out: I accidentally left my phone in the airport transfer car during the night, and despite the hour, the hotel team went above and beyond to track it down and deliver it right to my door. Amazing! This has become my go-to choice whenever I arrive on a late-night flight to Sanya—it’s just a few minutes from the airport, quiet and peaceful at night. In the morning, there are occasional plane sounds, but they provide earplugs, which shows how attentive they are to guest comfort. Highly recommend this place for convenience, care, and quality.

The pillows were thick and supportive, just like I’ve come to expect from Atour. The room was spotlessly clean, and I appreciated the fresh, sealed bathrobe—it gave me peace of mind right away. The amenities were well-maintained and up to the brand’s standard. What stood out most was the location: it’s just a short walk or 15-minute taxi ride from Yemeng Beach, where you can catch stunning sunsets and vibrant sunsets. Perfect for a relaxing evening stroll. The staff, especially Andy, went above and beyond. He responded to messages instantly, helped with luggage delivery, and arranged a room change to a twin-bed setup without any hassle. When my flight was delayed, he managed to secure a flexible check-out time that worked perfectly for me. This level of personalized care made all the difference. It’s clear they truly care about guest comfort and experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sanya—great value, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere.

This was my most enjoyable stay during a four-day trip to Sanya, and Roy-Sanya Bay Coconut Dream Corridor truly stood out. The value for money is excellent, and the service felt genuinely thoughtful—more personal than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. While the previous place I stayed in was slightly more expensive with marginally better facilities, it lacked that sense of warmth and genuine care. From the moment we checked in, the front desk team made us feel welcome—not through forced smiles, but through real attentiveness. Elevators were reserved for guests; staff even used the stairs, which showed how much they prioritize guest comfort. When our water ran low, staff brought fresh mineral water without hesitation. My child had a minor foot injury, and they quickly provided antiseptic wipes, Band-Aids, and Yunnan Baiyao—exactly what we needed. The room was spotless, with impeccable cleanliness throughout. What impressed me most was how service-oriented the staff were, yet never intrusive or overly eager. It felt like being cared for without feeling like you’re asking for anything. We stayed two nights and enjoyed a complimentary airport transfer—other perks weren’t explored, but this alone made the experience worthwhile. The bed wasn’t overly soft, but perfectly supportive and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Overall, an exceptional stay with a perfect balance of hospitality and respect for privacy. I’ll definitely return if I come back to Sanya.

I connected with our dedicated concierge, Xiao Yang, via WeChat before arrival—such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for an exceptional stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality. Breakfast was solid—nothing fancy, but satisfying and well-balanced. What truly stands out? Four distinct pools, including a heated one and a dedicated adult pool—perfect for relaxation or a refreshing swim. Plus, the private underground passage leading directly to the beach is a game-changer; no need to walk in the sun or through crowded areas. Elevators are conveniently placed throughout, making access easy for elderly guests and kids alike. This hotel exceeds expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be back.

The location is absolutely fantastic—super convenient for getting around, with easy access to attractions and a peaceful, scenic neighborhood. Whether traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers comfort and convenience in one. I especially want to thank Front Desk Manager Xiao Wang for the excellent room assignment and warm hospitality—it felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. I stayed here as a transit stop, but was pleasantly surprised by how close it is to Yemeng Long Beach, perfect for catching the sunset at the ideal viewing spot. Plus, there’s live acoustic music on weekends—such a nice touch that adds charm to the evening. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Sanya.

Howard Johnson Resort Sanya Bay

Staying in the honeymoon suite on the 7th floor was such a delightful surprise—corner room with multiple windows and a spacious balcony that flooded the space with natural light. The room was immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a private retreat. The housekeeping staff were genuinely warm and friendly, greeting us with a smile the moment we walked in. Even though the resort is large and bustling, the team stayed organized and attentive, always going the extra mile. They offered to carry our luggage up to the room and even helped with packing and bringing bags down at check-out—way more thoughtful than what I’ve experienced at some other luxury hotels. A small tip is definitely deserved for such service. The barbecue and hot pot buffets were outstanding—plenty of fresh ingredients, and the lamb skewers were especially delicious. I ended up eating so much I could barely move! The breakfast was next level too—huge dining area, endless variety, and one of the most impressive hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had on this trip. The landscaping is beautiful, and the resort feels expansive and peaceful. Right outside the front door is the Menguang Longlou walkway, where you can stroll along the beachfront. While the waters of Sanya Bay aren’t as crystal clear as those in Yalong Bay, it’s still lovely for a relaxed walk, watching locals enjoy the seaside vibe. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere made this stay truly memorable. A top-tier experience with excellent value.

Ocean Sonic Resort Sanya

Staying at Ocean Sonic Resort Sanya was an absolute highlight of my trip to Sanya. The Southeast Asian-inspired design stands out—simple yet elegant, with warm wooden details that create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The room layout is spacious and well-thought-out, and the lush interior gardens add a peaceful touch. Just steps away from the road, you're right on the beachfront along Sanya Bay Road—perfect for morning walks or sunset views. The staff are genuinely attentive and proactive in their service, especially Xiao Li, the concierge who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From helpful recommendations to personal touches, she truly made a difference. There are plenty of amenities on-site, and getting around is super convenient. For the quality, location, and value, this is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Sanya—highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be returning.
