The property doesn't exist at all—this was a complete scam. How come there aren't stronger safety filters before listings go live? Located on the top floor, it had a strong sewer-like smell and no windows—completely airless and stuffy. Two beds, but only a bottom sheet provided, and no towels or soap. We were hot and tired, so we thought turning on the AC would help, but it only ran for about 30 minutes before shutting off automatically—leaving us trapped in a sweltering, smelly box. To make matters worse, our room was right next to the staff laundry area. Late-night arguments continued until 2:30 AM, followed by a knock at midnight from someone delivering towels and soap—despite never requesting them. More shouting and slamming doors erupted around 6 AM. The location is great, and the front desk staff was genuinely kind, but the price charged to my 81-year-old mother ($1,350 MXN) felt excessive and unfair. I won’t be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone seeking a decent night’s sleep. If you're just passing through and don’t care about comfort, maybe it’s an option—but for restful travel? Definitely not.

Gustavo joined us too — warm, fun, and full of insider knowledge. They made us feel like family. The property is secure, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. You come here as a guest… and leave as a friend. If you’re visiting Mazatlán, this is the only place to stay.
