We were hot and tired, so we thought turning on the AC would help, but it only ran for about 30 minutes before shutting off automatically—leaving us trapped in a sweltering, smelly box. To make matters worse, our room was right next to the staff laundry area. Late-night arguments continued until 2:30 AM, followed by a knock at midnight from someone delivering towels and soap—despite never requesting them. More shouting and slamming doors erupted around 6 AM. The location is great, and the front desk staff was genuinely kind, but the price charged to my 81-year-old mother ($1,350 MXN) felt excessive and unfair. I won’t be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone seeking a decent night’s sleep. If you're just passing through and don’t care about comfort, maybe it’s an option—but for restful travel? Definitely not.

Gustavo joined us too — warm, fun, and full of insider knowledge. They made us feel like family. The property is secure, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. You come here as a guest… and leave as a friend. If you’re visiting Mazatlán, this is the only place to stay.

The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and my husband and I slept soundly throughout Carnival, thanks to our foam earplugs. The second-floor terrace overlooking the lush courtyard became our favorite spot for afternoon naps, surrounded by greenery and blooming bougainvilleas.
