Staying at Shangri-La Guilin was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our guest host Emily went above and beyond—she reached out in advance to learn about our preferences and even prepared thoughtful little amenities for our child. The housekeeping staff, Jongche, was incredibly attentive, personally escorting us to our room and giving a detailed walk-through of the hotel’s facilities with genuine warmth. The room itself beautifully blends modern comfort with traditional northern Guangxi charm—our bed was so cozy we slept like babies all night. But the real highlight? The evening view: as dusk fell, the river lights gently lit up the scene outside our window, turning the Li River into a shimmering canvas. Absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

I stayed here four years ago during a competition and returned this time for a business meeting—still impressed by the consistently high quality of the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff, especially Manager Yang, was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and professional—truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As a thank-you gesture, the hotel and platform even provided a complimentary dining package, which was delicious and well-prepared. From service to food, every detail exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next trip to Guilin.

Tailian Hotel

We stayed at Tailian Hotel during our trip to Guilin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious room featuring a bathtub—our kids absolutely loved taking nightly baths, and the hotel even provided disposable bathtub covers for hygiene. The staff followed our special request for a non-smoking room and had all the baby essentials ready, including toys and baby-safe amenities. The room was spotless, fresh, and free of any unpleasant odors—very important when traveling with little ones. They also offered a free baby stroller, which made navigating the city much easier. The lobby served complimentary loquat tea, a local favorite, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic—varied, fresh, and well-prepared with both Western and Chinese options. Perfect for fueling up before heading out to explore nearby attractions like Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill. While there’s no full-length mirror or extendable makeup mirror in the room, this minor detail didn’t detract from the overall experience. The location is unbeatable—everything is within walking distance, and there are countless restaurants just steps away. With excellent service, great value, and family-friendly facilities, we’ll definitely be returning next time we visit Guilin. Highly recommended!

China Southern Airlines Pearl Hotel (Guilin two rivers and four lakes Vientiane City store)

Staying at China Southern Airlines Pearl Hotel in Guilin was an absolute highlight of my trip. Located just a 3-minute walk from the train station and within easy reach of Wanzheng City, everything I needed—dining, shopping, sightseeing—was right at my doorstep. The moment I stepped into the room, I was greeted by a sleek aviation-inspired design combined with smart technology. The sleep system was incredible—so supportive it made falling asleep effortless, especially after a long day exploring. I loved how the voice-controlled curtains opened gently with the morning light, offering a stunning view of trains gliding past the karst mountains. The rooftop garden and the spiral propeller art installation in the lobby were perfect spots for photos. Breakfast was a treat: fresh-made Guilin rice noodles with rich, aromatic broth that filled the air, plus unexpected delights like Gongcheng oil tea among the Cantonese dim sum. In the evening, I wandered over to Wanzheng City for some guava wine paired with spicy fish—perfect! The entire experience felt luxurious yet welcoming, blending modern comfort with local charm. If you're visiting Guilin, this hotel is a must-book—it’s not just a place to stay, it’s part of the journey.

Staying here for five nights was an absolute delight. The room was incredibly spacious, with a huge, super comfortable bed that made for perfect sleep. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing—just what I needed after a long day of exploring Guilin. The bathroom features a smart dry-wet separation design, making it both practical and easy to maintain. Any request I had was handled instantly by the front desk staff—they were incredibly responsive and friendly. Plus, the hotel is just steps away from Yihua City, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within reach. There’s also a convenient bus stop nearby, making getting around town effortless. With such great value, top-notch service, and a prime location, I’d definitely book again. Highly recommend!

This is my third stay at Huagui Hotel (Guilin Station), and each visit has been even better than the last. Nestled within a serene botanical garden, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city—walking through the gardens feels like escaping into nature. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and free of any unpleasant odors, making it incredibly comfortable for a good night’s sleep. While finding parking can be a bit tricky since access is via a logistics park gate, the overall convenience and value make up for it. The staff, especially the friendly front desk attendant Xiao Jiang, went above and beyond with warm, attentive service. Whether you're here for a group getaway with friends, a romantic escape, or a family vacation, this place truly delivers. Every stay feels special, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and great value.

Venus Royal Hotel (Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill Sun and Moon Twin Towers)

This was my first visit to Guilin, and I genuinely came here for just one room—but ended up falling in love with the entire city. Nestled right between Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Twin Towers, the hotel offers a perfect front-row seat to two of Guilin’s most iconic landmarks. By day, the views are breathtaking—rolling hills, winding rivers, and lush greenery stretching as far as the eye can see. At night, the lights along the Li River and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area create a magical glow that feels straight out of a dream. The room itself is clean, bright, and spacious, with a window that frames the Sun and Moon Towers perfectly. Waking up on the balcony, I could take in the mountains, water, and city all at once—so peaceful and inspiring. No need to rush through sightseeing; the hotel is steps from Elephant Trunk Hill, and everything else is within easy reach. The rooftop afternoon tea area is a real highlight—great coffee, delicious breakfast, and such a relaxing vibe. I could’ve spent the whole day just lounging here. Honestly, staying here made me fall in love with Guilin. If you’re visiting for the first time, this is the place to stay.

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Zhongyang Pedestrian Street, with easy access to the Liuyue Twin Towers and Elephant Trunk Hill. I loved how everything was within walking distance. There are also great dining spots nearby, like Jinlongzhai in the same building, and popular local favorites such as Agan and Chunji on Zhongshan Road—no need to travel far for delicious food. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, offering personalized recommendations and local tips that made my trip much more enjoyable. It’s clear they care about guest experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guilin—it's convenient, comfortable, and full of charm.

I've stayed at Guilin Tianjie International Hotel (Gaoxin Wanda Branch) multiple times, and I can confidently say it's one of the best value stays in the area. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed with a dry/wet separation, and the hot water pressure is strong and consistent, making for a truly relaxing shower. All amenities are modern and functional, and the Wi-Fi connection is blazing fast—perfect for streaming or working remotely. The housekeeping staff is incredibly responsive; they brought extra items promptly whenever needed. Security is also top-notch—the hotel has attentive staff on duty, which gives you peace of mind during your stay. I'm a loyal guest of Huazhu Hotels, and this Mercure Guilin High-tech Zone Hotel truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me warmly—especially Xiao Zhen, whose friendly service made me feel right at home. The room layout is smart and spacious, with a clean, modern design that felt both comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of variety, including both Western and local options, all fresh and delicious. The location is perfect, just steps from Wanda Plaza and well-connected to downtown via metro. Great convenience, great value, and an overall fantastic stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and plan to return soon.

Guilin Dragon Ball Lijiang Bian Resort Hotel

Absolutely stunning! I couldn’t believe how affordable it was to stay at a near-five-star hotel right on the banks of the Li River—just a fraction of what you’d expect. The location is unbeatable: walking distance to everything, from the Liberation Bridge and Xiao Yao Tower, through the historic West-East Alley and the Ming Dynasty’s Jingjiang Prince’s Palace, all the way to Elephant Trunk Hill just 500 meters away. The entire city center is so conveniently packed into one area that you could easily spend two extra nights exploring without feeling rushed. The parking lot behind the hotel is spacious and even has EV charging stations—perfect for electric car travelers. Across the street is Fubo Mountain Park, home to the famous Huanzhu Cave with ancient inscriptions carved by poets and scholars. It’s such a peaceful, scenic spot for photos and soaking in the natural beauty of karst landscapes. And with so many great restaurants and local flavors nearby, this place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and authenticity. One of the best stays I’ve had in Guilin.
