We easily reached Yuelu Mountain and Orange Isle by metro, while Du Fu's Pavilion was literally across the street. It only took about 20 minutes to get to East Square, making it perfect for exploring the city without hassle. Around the hotel, there’s no shortage of great food and shopping—two convenient Haidilao locations within walking distance, and even Cha Yan Yue Se was just steps away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a calm, elegant atmosphere. Every staff member we met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Tina Yu Ting from the Guest Services Lounge who made our check-in experience so smooth—she was especially attentive to our elderly family members and our kids, even gifting them little welcome treats. Our riverside room offered stunning views, and the natural light flooded in during the day, making every moment feel special. There’s also a unique collaboration store with the Provincial Museum—my kids loved browsing through the themed souvenirs, which were reasonably priced and perfect as gifts. The pool temperature was ideal for children, and they had a blast playing around. Breakfast was fantastic too—diverse options that catered to all tastes, with a strong focus on healthy eating. Unfortunately, due to our packed itinerary, we didn’t get to try the hotel’s dining venues beyond a lovely afternoon tea and a satisfying evening buffet. Still, the overall experience was outstanding. If we ever return to Changsha, this will be our first choice again.

Staying at Yijian·6500 Hotel in Changsha’s Chaotong Ancient Street was a delightful surprise. The hotel is perfectly nestled within the historic area, surrounded by old stone alleys, traditional tiled roofs, and well-preserved architecture—walking around feels like stepping into a different era. The design of the hotel itself is brilliant, blending local heritage elements with modern aesthetics seamlessly. Every detail, from the lighting to the furniture, tells a story. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were all thoughtfully curated—the ingredients were fresh, presentation was artistic, and the choice of tableware added to the overall charm. I enjoyed my meals in the cozy café, but having them delivered to the room was also a great option for relaxing evenings. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive—always smiling, quick to help, and genuinely committed to making your stay comfortable. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to Wuyi Square, perfect for exploring the city or grabbing some local street food. I highly recommend trying either the century-old Fire Palace stinky tofu or tangyuan (sugar oil dumplings)—both are delicious and totally worth the stop. Everything about this hotel screams quality and value. I’ll definitely be back!

This was my third stay at Yijian, and my kids are already devoted fans—they never want to leave! Stepping out the door feels like entering a quiet, artistic alleyway that instantly transports you into the soul of old Changsha. Walking to Wuyi Square, Taiping Street, and IFS Center is effortless—everything is within easy reach. The room is minimalist yet elegant, with incredibly soft bedding that makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning. The toiletries smell amazing and work beautifully—my bathroom even smelled fresh afterward. The front desk staff were so friendly and went out of their way to recommend hidden local gems perfect for photography and exploration. Breakfast was free and included a wide variety of options—especially loved the rich, aromatic coffee. The value for money is outstanding. Don’t miss the Su Xiang Night Food scene—it’s lively and delicious. I also booked the professional one-on-one 30-minute photo session, which turned out beautifully and captured our trip memories perfectly. Everything about this stay was exceptional—highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back.
