Step outside and you're face-to-face with the iconic Bell Tower—perfect for photos and soaking in the historic vibe. The staff, from security to front desk and laundry team, were all friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was fantastic—daily rotating menu with fresh, diverse options that kept us excited every morning. My parents especially loved the afternoon tea service; after a long day of exploring, returning to a cozy corner with a warm drink and light bites was pure bliss. Platinum wan'ao Victory Hotel

Our 8-day self-drive trip across Shaanxi ended with a stay at Platinum Wan'ao Victory Hotel in Xi'an, and overall, it was an excellent choice. The location is incredibly convenient—right across from Hepingmen Metro Station, just a 50-meter walk away, making public transit access seamless for exploring the city. The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Breakfast was decent but not particularly impressive by luxury hotel standards—nothing overly elaborate, and we didn’t receive a third breakfast for our parents, which was slightly disappointing since this was one of only two hotels on the entire trip that didn’t offer it. Still, considering the excellent location, helpful staff, room comfort, and overall value, it’s hard not to give high praise. For travelers prioritizing convenience and a solid base in central Xi’an, this hotel is a strong recommendation.

Located right in the heart of Xi'an, it’s just a short walk from Bell and Drum Tower, the Muslim Quarter, and all the hidden gems around town—perfect for exploring on foot. The staff, especially our host Star, were incredibly warm and welcoming; they even gave us a little gift when checking out—such a thoughtful touch! Every evening, there’s a complimentary sweet soup served as part of the “goodnight” ritual, and the afternoon tea buffet is a lovely treat. Water bottles are available on every floor with no limits—super convenient. I also appreciated the 6th-floor laundry room, which comes equipped with detergent so you don’t have to bring your own. The room layout is fantastic: spacious, well-designed, and features a full-length mirror that makes getting ready a breeze. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend it to friends and travelers looking for comfort, charm, and great value in a central location.

The hotel exceeded my expectations—no issues at all, despite some online reviews suggesting otherwise. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. As a long-standing five-star property, the facilities are top-notch and well-maintained. Location-wise, it’s absolutely perfect—just steps from the old town, with easy access to the ancient city wall and the bustling Muslim Quarter. Walking to local street food spots is a breeze, and the metro station right outside means commuting to work is fast and hassle-free without needing a taxi. I especially loved the ground-floor coffee—it’s way better than any takeaway I’ve had lately. There’s also a great selection of authentic local eats nearby, giving the area a real local vibe. If I ever bring my family on a trip to Xi’an, this will be my first choice again. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

Sofitel Xi'an on Renmin Square

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m happy to say everything lived up to expectations—plus, I got upgraded to a larger room! The suite is spacious with excellent layout and well-maintained amenities. The only minor issue was the hot water in the bathtub—it didn’t get quite hot enough for my taste. Breakfast was a highlight: the local Xi’an dishes had authentic flavor, though not overly standout; however, the Western breakfast options were impressive—fresh, varied, and high quality. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a short walk from the Bell and Drum Towers, and very convenient access to the Wukou Metro Station. The surrounding area has plenty of dining options and daily necessities. Overall, a fantastic experience with great value for money. I’ll definitely be returning when I come back to Xi’an.

What truly touched us was that it happened to be my daughter's birthday; the hotel had secretly prepared fresh fruit, a small gift, and a heartfelt handwritten card. Her face lit up with pure joy—this level of personal care made the trip unforgettable. The room itself was a highlight: smart features like motorized curtains and motion-sensor lighting created a seamless, comfortable experience. Every member of the staff—from concierge to housekeeping—was attentive, proactive, and respectful without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such genuinely warm, intuitive service. Absolutely fantastic stay with incredible value for money! The front desk staff, Xiao Li, provided exceptional service—check-in was quick and seamless, and they even upgraded us to a room with a better view, which was such a delightful surprise. My stay at Hilton Xi'an was absolutely exceptional from the very first moment. Upon check-in, the hotel manager personally upgraded my room and even had an air humidifier ready before I arrived—huge relief for me with respiratory issues, instantly making the space much more comfortable. The room itself was spacious, immaculate, and the bed was incredibly cozy. I loved using the well-maintained fitness center, indoor pool, and sauna facilities—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. On checkout, Ada Yang kindly handed me a thoughtful little gift, a lovely keepsake that made me remember this city fondly. The staff were consistently polite, attentive, and genuinely caring—service excellence at its finest. And let’s not forget the neighborhood: right outside the hotel, there’s a vibrant local food scene with authentic street eats around every corner. If you’re visiting Xi’an, this is definitely where I’d come back to again. A top-tier experience in every way.

This trip to Xi'an was absolutely perfect! The hotel service was outstanding—from the warm and thoughtful check-in experience to the meticulous daily room cleaning. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. Located just steps from Longshouyuan Metro Station, getting around the city was incredibly convenient. Xi'an itself is full of charm: the Terracotta Warriors left us speechless with their scale and detail, the ancient city walls offered a powerful sense of history, and the food in Huimin District was rich, authentic, and unforgettable. From start to finish, every moment felt special. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi'an—truly deserving of a perfect score!
