Staying at Lingcai Handu Hotel in Chengdu was an excellent experience overall. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and featured large windows that let in plenty of natural light—perfect for a relaxing stay. What stood out most was how close it was to the subway station; getting to various attractions was incredibly convenient. On the day we visited Dujiangyan, taking the high-speed train was easy—we reached the station by subway in under 20 minutes. Coming back, our taxi driver mentioned the hotel is located right on Chengdu’s 2.5 ring road, which confirms its great central location. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Yang, were exceptionally warm and attentive, going the extra mile to help with any request. The only minor issue was one window not closing fully, which led to a mosquito bite on my child—but the team responded immediately the next day by sending over an electric mosquito repellent. My kid loved the breakfast options, especially the noodles, and even said they’d want to stay here again. With the great location, friendly service, and solid value, this hotel is definitely worth recommending.

The shopping area isn’t flashy, but the real plus is the variety of local eateries right downstairs—perfect for grabbing a quick bite without leaving the building. We booked two rooms for our family trip: the twin room was on the quieter side of the building, and we loved the smart toilet—it made daily routines so much more comfortable. The bathroom also featured a rainfall showerhead, which added to the relaxing vibe. The king room with private hot spring tub was great, though we did notice some noise from the downstairs karaoke bar late at night—could use better soundproofing. But what really stood out was the small courtyard where we enjoyed tea in the sun (if only the weather had been brighter!). Plus, there’s a friendly dog around who loves being petted—such a sweet touch. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value, great amenities, and a warm, homely atmosphere.
