Staying at Xi'en International Hotel was far more than just a place to sleep—it became a highlight of my entire trip to Chengdu. From the moment I arrived, every step of the experience felt seamless and thoughtfully designed. Staying at Emei Xueya Hotel in Chengdu was an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was spotless and incredibly quiet—perfect for a good night's rest. What truly stood out was the exceptional service, especially since I was here for the Chengdu Marathon. The hotel went above and beyond by moving breakfast time up to 5:30 AM on Sunday and even provided plenty of bottled water for runners. After the race, they generously allowed a late check-out until 4 PM—so thoughtful and convenient! The location is also excellent; it’s just about 700 meters from the storage areas for all three zones (A, B, and C), making access super easy whether you're walking or taking public transit. Everything was well-organized, comfortable, and welcoming. This hotel offers amazing value and attention to detail. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler or runner visiting Chengdu.

We stayed here as a family during our trip to Chengdu, and it was an excellent choice! The room was spacious—way bigger than most hotels we’ve stayed in—and the bed was a real hit with our kids; it’s significantly larger than what we’ve seen elsewhere, making for a comfortable night’s sleep. The lobby has soft background music playing, which adds a calming vibe throughout the stay. It’s also super convenient—the nearby night market is perfect for dining and exploring, and getting to Southwest Jiaotong University is just a short ride away. Great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to other families visiting Chengdu.

What stood out the most was the convenient location—just a short walk from Xin Qiao Metro Station, making it easy to get around Chengdu or head straight to the Happy Valley area. The hotel’s entrance has a grand and welcoming appearance, and the overall ambiance felt clean and modern. The surrounding area is well-equipped with dining options, shopping, and entertainment, so you don’t need to go far for anything. It’s a great spot for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and value—all in one place. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

The atmosphere inside the hotel is peaceful and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a quiet retreat amid the city buzz. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request, whether it was local tips or booking assistance. I especially loved that there were bicycles available right on the ground floor, which made exploring nearby spots like Fuxin Night Market super easy. It’s only about a 20-minute walk, and the food there is amazing and affordable. Everything about this stay felt authentic, convenient, and genuinely well thought out. Staying at Katai Hotel near Jinbu Park was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the Jinbu Park MRT station, making it super convenient for getting around Chengdu. Whether you're heading downtown or exploring nearby neighborhoods, public transit is right outside the door. There are plenty of great dining options within walking distance—local Sichuan flavors, casual eateries, and quick bites all close by. I've stayed in Chengdu over 200 nights a year, usually booking major chain hotels directly through official channels—mainly for the best rates, member perks, and loyalty tier status (Marriott Titanium, Hilton Diamond, IHG Diamond, Huazhu Platinum, Jinjiang Black). This time I got a local stay voucher and tried booking through the platform into one of those big brands, but it wasn’t the most cost-effective option. So I decided to go for a standalone property instead, maximizing the value of the voucher. Choosing a standalone hotel is always a bit of a gamble. I was almost locked in on another place when I stumbled across this one last minute. The room photos immediately caught my eye—it looked exactly like a recently rebranded Holiday Inn Express. After applying the voucher, the final price was incredibly competitive, so I didn’t hesitate much. A quick glance at the reviews confirmed it was worth trying. I arrived from a distant Fairfield by Marriott in the southern part of the city, taking a direct subway ride of over 30 stops to Jinfu Station—no transfers needed. It took just five minutes to walk from the exit to the hotel. Check-in went smoothly, and the front desk staff were training a new team member, which made them extra attentive and patient. The room matched my expectations closely—almost fully retaining the recent Holiday Inn Express design language. Some features weren't in use anymore, like the in-room safe. The central AC had been turned off and replaced with a standalone unit, with the outdoor condenser installed in a section near the floor-to-ceiling window, slightly reducing the view and natural light. But thanks to a complimentary room upgrade, the overall sightlines remained excellent. There’s a laundry room with a regular-sized washing machine—definitely not commercial-grade, but functional enough. I noticed they’re installing a dryer too, which will be a nice addition soon. Amenities-wise, the bath products aren’t from HIX anymore, and towels and face cloths are single-use by default, though you can request reusable linens if needed. Besides clear remnants of the former Holiday Inn Express identity, there are subtle traces of Starway Hotel as well. As a standalone property now, maintenance and service details don’t quite match the standards set under IHG or Huazhu management. But honestly, considering the price point, the quality-to-value ratio is outstanding. If you're staying around Jinfu area, this is definitely a solid recommendation. Too bad it’s not part of any major brand group—I’d have stayed here multiple times otherwise.

Staying at Chengdu Jinniu Southwest Jiaotong University Atour Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful—seeing that I had a long journey, they welcomed me with fresh fruit and kept offering water throughout my stay. Their helpfulness went beyond expectations; every time I asked for recommendations on nearby transportation, dining spots, or shopping areas, they gave clear, detailed suggestions without hesitation. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean—way better than the photos suggested. Breakfast was a highlight: the stir-fried pork slices were flavorful and perfectly cooked, standing out among all the options. Overall, this hotel offers exceptional value, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family, and I’ll be back again soon.

Staying at Jinrong Hotel near the Jinsha Site Museum was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—my bed was one of the most restful I've ever slept on. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was a real highlight—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. I especially appreciated how thoughtfully the menu was curated to suit different tastes. The hotel's location is perfect: quiet yet convenient, just a short walk from public transport and major attractions. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced mix of comfort, service, and value. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Chengdu—and I’d highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the city.

I’ve stayed at Jincheng Hotel (Chengdu Shiren Park Branch) multiple times now, and each visit continues to exceed my expectations. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had a clean, inviting atmosphere—exactly what you want after a long day of work. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with a minor issue I had without hesitation. Even the housekeeping team made an effort to smile and greet guests warmly—such a small touch that really made the stay feel personal. What stands out most is the vibrant local vibe just outside the hotel. There’s so much street-side energy—the smell of spicy Sichuan food, bustling night markets, and authentic neighborhood charm. It’s perfect for someone who wants to experience real Chengdu life while still enjoying comfort and convenience. For business trips or casual visits, this hotel is hands-down my go-to choice in Chengdu. Great value, great location, and great hospitality.

I’ve stayed here multiple times for work trips, and it’s always been a top choice. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to Fuqin Night Market, where you can enjoy local street food and soak up the lively atmosphere. A quick bus ride gets you to Tianfu Square and Chunxi Road for shopping and exploring. It’s also just a 10-minute stroll to Yipin Tianxia Food Street, and nearby attractions like Jinsha Museum make it easy to combine business with leisure. Even though the hotel has been around for about eight years, it’s well-maintained with clean rooms, reliable amenities, and a welcoming vibe. The price is very reasonable for the quality and convenience. If you’re visiting Chengdu for work or travel, this place is a solid, no-brainer option.

Staying at Chenyue Hotel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The underground parking connects directly to the lobby—just park in any available spot (even if it's not clearly marked as private), and you're good to go. No hassle at all. Once inside, using the room key card for access felt secure and smooth. What really stood out? The food delivery robot! It came straight from the lobby to my room—super cool and futuristic, even the kids were amazed. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. Plus, there are four convenience stores within a 200-meter radius—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials anytime. Across the street is a gas station, so fueling up before a road trip was super convenient. Everything about this hotel feels thoughtfully designed, and with such great value, I’d definitely stay here again.
