Later in the evening, I had a small issue upon returning to the hotel, and reaching out for help was the best decision. The hotel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and conveniently located near public transit. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. I came to Chengdu for a concert and arrived earlier than expected due to a schedule change. I called the hostess, who was incredibly patient and helpful—she immediately sorted everything out and even let me check in early. The location is fantastic: just a short walk from Huapaifang Metro Station and super close to Kuanzhai Alley, making it easy to explore the city. The homestay itself is beautifully designed—clean, cozy, and filled with calming plants that help you unwind. It’s also perfect for photos, with a very Instagram-worthy vibe. The slippers were a nice surprise—they’re definitely women’s size and so soft and comfortable, I didn’t want to take them off! But the bed? Absolutely amazing. The mattress has just the right amount of bounce—after a long 12-hour train ride, lying down on it felt like getting a full recharge. I slept like a baby. There are two friendly dogs living on the property, but they only bark occasionally and never get aggressive. The room is well-insulated too—no noise from the downstairs lounge, which is a big plus. They’ve thought of everything: a private smoking area, a dedicated food delivery drop-off spot, and the lounge space looks really well-equipped (though I didn’t get to try it this time). As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and genuinely cared for throughout my stay. This place isn’t just comfortable—it’s a sanctuary. I’d 100% come back and would recommend it to any woman traveling alone. Hope the hostess opens more locations across China—this kind of all-female-run, thoughtful homestay deserves to be everywhere.

I've stayed at quite a few e-sports hotels, but this Home E-Sports Hotel in Chengdu's Yingmenkou district truly stands out. The room was surprisingly spacious—more than I expected—and the layout made it easy to enjoy gaming or just relax without feeling cramped. Cleanliness is top-notch: the bedding, bathroom, and overall room hygiene were spotless, which really added to the comfort. What impressed me most was the location—there are tons of great dining options nearby, and if you're up for an evening stroll, you can easily walk to Fuxin Night Market. It's full of local flavors, street food, and fun little shops. Plus, public transport access is convenient, making it easy to get around the city. I’ll definitely book here again when I return to Chengdu. A solid choice with excellent value for money.
