The room itself was immaculate, with everything neatly arranged and even my clothes folded upon arrival—a thoughtful touch that added to the warm, welcoming vibe. Cleanliness was top-notch, and all amenities were modern and fully functional. What really stood out? The toiletries—they were from L’Occitane, instantly elevating the luxury feel of the stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Morning wake-up calls were prompt and courteous. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, well-organized stations, and staff even suggested combo meals that made dining enjoyable and stress-free. One of the best features? The hotel’s perfect for morning walks or runs—the two entrances lead directly to scenic green paths. Getting around was effortless too: taxis were readily available right outside, and parking was free and convenient. The service deserves a special mention—especially the front desk staff who greeted us with genuine warmth, chatted with my child, and even handed over a little teddy bear. My kid was beaming all morning! This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home with heart, charm, and exceptional value.

QiDian Hotel

I was a bit nervous about smoke smell in the room, so I specifically asked the front desk for a unit that had been vacant the previous night—perfect choice! The room was immaculate and completely free of any lingering odors. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, it even featured a little balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee with a view. The breakfast blew me away: warm congee, freshly ground soy milk and coffee, a great selection of fresh fruits, savory stir-fries, steamed dishes, and homemade desserts—all delicious and well-presented. The oversized, cozy sofa was the cherry on top; I just wanted to stay put all day. Great location, friendly staff, and incredible value for money. This is definitely a place I’ll return to next time I’m in Chengdu.

Plus, the location is super convenient—just a short subway ride to downtown Chengdu. It’s an ideal choice for travelers looking for comfort, value, and a relaxing stay. This has easily been one of the best hotel stays I've had in Chengdu. The room was freshly renovated in 2025—everything felt brand new and thoughtfully designed. The thick door provided excellent soundproofing, so I slept peacefully without any noise disturbances. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the minimalist yet elegant interior gave the space a serene, refined vibe. Cleanliness was top-notch—the room was spotless, and every detail felt well-maintained. Staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to help with anything I needed. The breakfast was a highlight: fresh, tasty, and offered a good variety. Location-wise, it’s just a 30-minute drive from the airport, and easy to find whether you're driving or using public transit. Overall, this place offers exceptional value, quiet comfort, and warm hospitality. It’s now my go-to choice whenever I visit Chengdu—I’ll definitely be back.

On the ground floor, there’s a Luckin Coffee and a 24-hour convenience store, which made early morning grab-and-go drinks and snacks super convenient. The room was spotless, with excellent cleanliness and a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. Special shoutout to front desk staff Xiao Zhang—so attentive and helpful! They upgraded our room for free and even arranged two connecting rooms, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is ideal for travelers, close to the train station and university area, with easy access to public transit. Everything about this stay was seamless, from check-in to checkout. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was immersed in a beautifully crafted Han-Tang dynasty atmosphere. The staff are not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming—the concierge, Chen Wei, stood out with his friendly demeanor and tall, approachable presence. He even handed me a traditional folding fan as a thoughtful gesture, which added such a poetic touch to the experience. What really stood out was their attention to detail: they proactively asked if I preferred a non-smoking floor, which made a huge difference for someone sensitive to odors. The location is unbeatable—right next to Sichuan University, with a lively hot pot restaurant just across the street. And yes, the live performances featuring stunningly dressed NPC actors throughout the lobby are absolutely worth experiencing—there’s real energy and cultural immersion here. It’s been a while since my last business trip to Chengdu, and this two-day stay turned out to be a delightful surprise. I was originally planning to book at the Waldorf, but then discovered this Marriott – trusting the brand and following a friend’s recommendation, I decided to give it a try. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The room itself was outstanding – the bedding was perfect: the mattress had just the right firmness, and the down comforter was light yet cozy, ensuring a truly restful night’s sleep. Everything was spotless – immaculate cleanliness from top to bottom. Upon returning, I even found a lovely turn-down service waiting for me, which added such a warm, personal touch. The welcome fruit platter was a nice surprise too, especially the hotel’s own Aoyuan jelly tangerines – juicy, sweet, and fresh. From the moment I booked, Emily, the guest relations manager, reached out with a friendly phone call, making sure everything was taken care of. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable – just across the street from In99, where dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within easy reach. Yet, despite being in the heart of the action, the hotel somehow manages to feel calm and serene – more peaceful than the Waldorf right next door. This stay was truly flawless. If you’re ever in Chengdu for work or play, this is definitely a top pick.

Breakfast was outstanding: a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, both local and international, served with care. Room service arrived promptly and was professional throughout. I especially loved the 29th-floor lounge—elegant ambiance, stunning views of the city skyline, and attentive yet unobtrusive service. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing drink after a long day. This stay exceeded all expectations. I’m already looking forward to returning—the experience was flawless, and the value truly stands out.
