YiXi Place Siheyuan Hotel

Staying at this traditional Beijing siheyuan hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful—especially when a minor delivery issue occurred the day before check-out. Even after we’d already checked out, they took the time to resolve it for us, which truly showed their dedication to guest satisfaction. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk from Nanluoguxiang, Drum Tower, and Houhai, with countless local eateries nearby. I loved how authentic and peaceful it felt, yet still so close to everything. The blend of history, comfort, and warm hospitality made this stay unforgettable. Staying at this Peking Garden Siheyuan Hotel was such a delightful experience! The kitchen facilities are a standout—fully equipped and perfect for cooking or just preparing a quick meal. The staff went above and beyond: welcome fruits, room upgrade without extra charge, and the owner and his assistant felt like family. No pressure or formality—just warm, genuine hospitality. It’s rare to find a place that feels so personal, cozy, and full of character. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Beijing Original Yuesu Courtyard

This is my second visit to this charming courtyard guesthouse, and each season brings a completely different experience. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—always smiling, always ready to help with local tips or just a friendly chat. Located deep in a quiet Beijing alleyway, it’s peaceful yet still super convenient for getting around; the metro station is just a short walk away. I love how the atmosphere changes with the seasons—the cherry blossoms in spring, the cicadas in summer, the golden leaves in autumn, and the serene stillness of winter. And don’t get me started on the resident cats! They roam freely, lounging in the sun, adding even more charm to the place. It’s not just a stay—it feels like stepping into a real piece of old Beijing life. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, cozy, and unforgettable getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Blossom House·HouHai Beijing

Staying at Blossom House·Hou Hai Beijing in Yangfang Hutong was such a delightful experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Houhai Lake and the Drum Tower, making it perfect for exploring Beijing’s historic heart. The hotel’s interior design stands out with its creative use of irregular shapes, which might not be everyone’s taste, but I appreciated the unique character. What truly impressed me was the comfort of the bed—excellent mattress and high-quality linens made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast offered both set menus and à la carte options, so there was something for everyone, and nothing went to waste. The staff—Liu Linlin, Xiao Xi, and Xiao Zheng—were incredibly warm and attentive. They helped with luggage, offered free yogurt and fresh fruit, and always had a smile. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. This place has a special charm, and I’ll definitely return.

The PuXuan Hotel and Spa

Staying at The PuXuan Hotel and Spa in Beijing was a delightful experience overall. The room size was just right—not too cramped, not overly spacious—and being just steps from the metro made getting around the city incredibly convenient. The twin beds were slightly smaller than expected, but the mattress was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the eggs—perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and soft center. However, the wonton soup could use more depth in flavor. Adding some rice noodles or vermicelli dishes, maybe even a spicy beef noodle option, would be a great addition to the menu. Despite minor room for improvement, the hospitality, location, and value for money made this stay truly memorable. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Beijing!

Pan Pacific Beijing

I was thrilled to book a Comfort Room again—so happy! While the hotel isn’t brand new and some facilities show their age, everything is well-maintained and functional. Cleanliness stands out—every corner is spotless, which made me feel completely at ease. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right in the heart of Xidan, with shopping, dining, and subway access just steps away. During the holiday season, the hotel was beautifully decorated with festive vibes—warm, cheerful, and full of spirit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and even accommodated my late checkout without any hassle. This is hands down my go-to choice for business trips. Convenient, reliable, and consistently great service. I’ll definitely be back.

Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel - Marriott International

Staying at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel was an absolute highlight of our trip. Located right in the heart of Beijing, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk to Wangfujing shopping street and major attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured all the amenities we needed. The view of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Mountain was simply unforgettable. We especially loved the New Year’s Eve atmosphere in the lobby—warm, festive, and beautifully decorated. The Executive Lounge perks were top-notch: great happy hour dinner, delicious breakfast, and a cozy space to unwind. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout—special thanks to Cecilia at check-in and Peter at checkout for their exceptional service. We’ve made this hotel our go-to spot for annual New Year gatherings with friends, and it never disappoints. One small suggestion: the bathroom toilet on the executive floor isn’t smart, so no heated seat or bidet function—this could be improved, especially during colder months. Also, only two bottles of water provided in the room are a bit minimal; while you can request more or grab some from the lounge, having them delivered directly would be more convenient. Still, these minor points don’t take away from the overall excellent experience. This place truly delivers luxury, comfort, and hospitality—highly recommended!

My stay at Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The package I booked included breakfast for one guest and complimentary parking—such a thoughtful touch, especially for those driving in. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent lighting and top-quality bedding that made for a truly restful night. Breakfast was well-rounded, offering a great mix of international and local options—perfect for starting the day right. Located in a prime area, the hotel is just steps away from multiple subway lines, making it super convenient to explore the city. But what really stood out was the service from front desk agent Xiao Yin. She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs, always with a warm smile and genuine care. It’s rare to find staff who make you feel not just welcomed, but genuinely valued. Her professionalism and kindness turned what could’ve been just a regular hotel stay into something memorable. This place isn’t just about luxury—it’s about heart. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality, this is the place to be.
