We picked up oysters for just 4-6 yuan each, clams at 10-12 yuan per kilo, sweet and crisp local greens for only 4 yuan per pound, and juicy prawns that were both tender and flavorful at 35 yuan per kilo. And let’s talk about the pineapple vendor—the guy who peels them with one hand? Pure artistry. He’s got moves like a real-life “Du Yuesheng” of Hainan street food.
