The large TV and built-in lounge chair made movie nights absolutely relaxing—perfect for someone who loves unwinding with some screen time. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations for dining and shopping nearby. Check-out was quick and smooth, which is always a plus. Bonus points for the bathtub in the room—nothing beats soaking after a long day exploring the city. Located right next to a major shopping center, everything you need is within walking distance, including the regional museum. With its convenient location, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality, this hotel is definitely worth recommending. I’ll be coming back.

The bedding was comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was—no noise from outside or neighboring units. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive, offering helpful tips about parking and breakfast. There’s a free parking lot with plenty of spaces, which is a big plus. The breakfast buffet was impressive—wide variety, including authentic local Uyghur dishes. Plus, there are laundry facilities and EV charging stations available, which adds great value. What really stood out was the free foot bath available in the evening, and the housekeeping team went above and beyond by providing different pillow options for adults and kids, ensuring everyone slept well. The heating system kept the room cozy and warm, and despite the dry air, a full-sized humidifier and air purifier were provided—plus a subtle lavender scent diffuser that added a calming touch. Staying at Lavande Hotel (Urumqi Changjiang Road International Trade City store) was an absolute pleasure. The location is unbeatable—if you're visiting Urumqi, this is the perfect base. I walked to Bazaar and Hedian Second Street in just a few minutes—perfect for exploring local markets and dining. The parking lot is located behind the hotel, so if you're driving, it's best to arrive early. When I checked in around 2:30 PM on Thursday, there were still four or five spots available. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had excellent soundproofing—no noise from the hallway or outside, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. Super convenient, clean, and great value. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Urumqi.
