A taxi to the West Lake area takes just over ten minutes. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The room is spacious, clean, and well-designed—far exceeding expectations for the price. I’ve already extended my stay for two additional nights, and honestly, I’d book again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of options, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. I especially appreciated the breakfast staff; when I arrived around 10:30 AM, slightly late, the kind lady not only welcomed me but also went out of her way to prepare fresh eggs and yogurt just for me. That small gesture made my day! Though I forgot to take photos, the warm hospitality truly stood out. Location-wise, it's just a 1-kilometer walk to Zhejiang Museum and about 3.5 km from West Lake scenic area—super convenient for exploring on foot or by metro. Great value, excellent service, and a highly recommended stay!

The surrounding area is quiet but still full of dining options—ordering food delivery was super convenient. What stood out most was the top-floor rooms: genuinely quiet, with minimal noise from outside, which made for excellent sleep quality. For a tournament stay, this place offers unbeatable comfort and value. I’d definitely come back if I ever visit Hangzhou again.

Grand Mercure Hangzhou Zijingang

Staying at Grand Mercure Hangzhou Zijingang was an absolutely delightful experience. The staff went above and beyond—they noticed I had a minor skin abrasion and kindly offered a bandage. When checking out, they even handed me a little New Year gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring service. This hotel offers great value and comfort.
