I stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Urumqi, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Staying at Lavande Hotel (Urumqi Hongguangshan International Convention and Exhibition Center) was a great experience overall. I couldn’t find the room photos online, but the actual space was spotlessly clean—probably on the 16th or 17th floor, as it was very quiet once the windows were closed, making for peaceful sleep even late at night. The midnight porridge delivery was a real highlight—it was comforting and delicious. The hotel is incredibly close to Liu Guan Yi Xin, so you can catch a stunning sunrise right from your window. Just outside, there’s a cultural plaza (can’t remember the exact name), and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and well-prepared. There’s also a cozy café just downstairs, perfect for a morning coffee. All in all, this place offers fantastic value, with a great location, quiet rooms, and thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend for travelers visiting Urumqi.

Zhaoyuan Hotel
