Staying at Lavande Hotel (Urumqi Hongguangshan International Convention and Exhibition Center) was a great experience overall. I couldn’t find the room photos online, but the actual space was spotlessly clean—probably on the 16th or 17th floor, as it was very quiet once the windows were closed, making for peaceful sleep even late at night. The midnight porridge delivery was a real highlight—it was comforting and delicious. The hotel is incredibly close to Liu Guan Yi Xin, so you can catch a stunning sunrise right from your window. Just outside, there’s a cultural plaza (can’t remember the exact name), and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and well-prepared. There’s also a cozy café just downstairs, perfect for a morning coffee. All in all, this place offers fantastic value, with a great location, quiet rooms, and thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend for travelers visiting Urumqi.

After wrapping up my business trip, I decided to extend my stay over the weekend with my girlfriend. The hotel exceeded all expectations—comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere that made our little getaway feel truly special. Urumqi is full of incredible experiences, from delicious local food to vibrant culture, and we definitely couldn’t explore everything in just one visit. That’s why we chose to stay an extra three nights. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the entire experience was absolutely worth every moment. From the warm staff to the quiet, well-maintained environment, it’s no surprise this place earned a perfect 10/10. Huge thanks to the team for such a memorable stay—I’ll be back! Highly recommended.

Urumqi Garden Hotel (Innovation Plaza)

Staying at Urumqi Garden Hotel (Innovation Plaza) was a decent experience overall. The location is very convenient—just a short subway ride from the city center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. While the price is on the higher side, I did receive a complimentary upgrade to a business suite, which offered ample space and a clean, modern layout. That said, the room didn’t feel significantly better than standard options—maybe my expectations were too high. Breakfast was average at best: limited choices and nothing particularly memorable in terms of taste or variety. Given the rate, I’d have expected a more impressive morning meal. Still, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel remains quiet and well-maintained. If you're visiting for a quick business trip or need a reliable base, this place works—but keep in mind that the value doesn’t quite match the premium pricing.

Rezen Select Coefon Urumqi Convention and Exhibition Center

Stayed here for a night and was thoroughly impressed! The room was spotless, modern, and well-maintained—perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I even made my own sandwich for breakfast using the in-room amenities like a microwave and kettle, which were super convenient. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just a short walk to the convention center and surrounded by great local eateries. Public transportation is easily accessible, making it simple to explore the city. Everything about this stay was top-notch, from the cleanliness to the thoughtful touches. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Urumqi—it's a real gem!

Wassim Hotel (Urumqi Hongguang Mountain International Convention and Exhibition Center)

The room itself felt way above its price point: spotless floors, incredibly comfortable bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep, powerful air conditioning, reliable hot water, fast Wi-Fi, and high-quality toiletries—not the cheap stuff you often get at budget places. Even the bedside charging outlets were thoughtfully placed, making it super convenient for travelers. What really stunned me? Breakfast was included! It wasn’t fancy, but it had all the basics—congee, noodles, rice, buns, eggs, milk, and coffee—fresh ingredients, simple home-style flavors, and more than enough to start the day right. Urumqi Belt and Road Theme Hotel (International Convention and Exhibition Center)

Staying at this hotel was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spacious and uniquely decorated with a distinctive Belt and Road theme that added character and charm to the stay. Everything you'd expect was included—both dry and wet slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and more—showing great attention to detail. Staff at the front desk and in-room service were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Hongguang Mountain Scenic Area and the marathon starting point (International Convention and Exhibition Center), making it ideal for both sightseeing and event attendees. On race day, breakfast was served as early as 5:30 AM—extremely thoughtful and well-organized. This level of consideration really sets the hotel apart. If you're visiting Urumqi, especially during events or exploring the city, this is a top-tier choice. Highly recommend!
