Over five nights, we were treated to stunning sunrises and vibrant morning skies—warm sunlight streaming in made each day feel magical and uplifting. It truly added a special touch to our trip, especially since it coincided with my mom’s birthday. The staff went above and beyond; even though I only booked breakfast for two, they kindly waived it for my child throughout the stay. Plus, there was free popcorn available by the lobby—my nephew loved stopping by for a snack on his way around. Breakfast was served on the 26th floor, offering not just delicious and varied options daily but also panoramic city views. My mom especially enjoyed the rich, creamy congee—the kind that warms your heart. Location-wise, being right next to Chengzhan Station makes everything so convenient—trains, taxis, shopping, dining, and attractions like West Lake are all within easy reach. Nearby spots like Longxiang Bridge, Ding’an Road, and Fengqi Road make exploring the city effortless. There are also great local eateries right outside the hotel. Overall, this is one of those rare stays where service, comfort, and location all come together perfectly. Highly recommended! One small suggestion: the shower water temperature could be slightly warmer for maximum comfort.

We stayed here with the family and after a lot of research, we finally chose this Holiday Inn right by West Lake—completely worth it! The location is incredibly convenient: across the street from Wulin Night Market and K11 Mall, so we had great food options and plenty to explore. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Bai Causeway, perfect for a relaxing lakeside stroll. We also discovered the vibrant Zhongshan North Bar Street nearby during our morning jog—great for evening vibes. The hotel itself exceeded expectations. As a well-established chain, the service was top-notch, and all the amenities were modern and well-maintained. I especially loved the complimentary coffee given to members—it was rich and delicious. The front desk staff, Yeah, was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Even though we couldn’t secure an additional room, she followed up promptly and made sure every step was communicated clearly. To my surprise, she upgraded my room and even left fresh fruit upon arrival. When I mentioned I’d be traveling with a child, she proactively arranged kid-friendly amenities, and the room came equipped with a mini-bar—thoughtful touches that really stood out. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—always smiling, ready to assist, and going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Dining at Zhiwei Hall was another highlight. The food was excellent, with authentic flavors and beautiful presentation. While some dishes were on the pricier side, considering the quality, setting, and service, it felt justified. My family especially loved the taste of the signature dishes and kept raving about them afterward. Overall, this was a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and hospitality. Feng Qi Chao Ming·The Dragon

Staying at this hotel in the heart of Hangzhou was an absolute delight. Just a short walk from West Lake, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the city without hassle. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable—bed was cozy, and I slept like a baby. Check-in was quick and friendly, with staff going the extra mile to explain all the room amenities. The 18th-floor pool and gym are fantastic—great views, well-maintained, and super convenient. Breakfast was outstanding: a wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and attentive service. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed. This was one of the best stays I’ve had in China—excellent value, great location, and top-tier hospitality. I’d definitely come back if I ever visit Hangzhou again.

The East Hotel

Staying at The East Hotel in Hangzhou was a fantastic experience overall. The location is very convenient—there are plenty of dining options right on the ground floor, and the subway station is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with a unique theme that added character to the stay. The lobby itself is impressively large and stylish, with a modern aesthetic that sets the tone for the entire hotel. One standout feature is the self-service electric scooter rental kiosk at the entrance—perfect for travelers who want flexibility and freedom when getting around. I also want to give a special mention to Amy, who went above and beyond with her warm and attentive service—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The value for money is excellent; you get a high-quality stay without breaking the bank. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return to.
