This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. I was especially impressed by the cinema-themed room — the design is unique and stylish, exactly my kind of vibe. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.

Staying at the InterContinental Century City Chengdu was an absolute delight during my trip to Chengdu. The front desk team, especially my dedicated concierge Maggie Zhang, went above and beyond—she reached out in advance, addressed me by name, and made me feel truly welcomed. She arranged breakfast for me and even helped with parking logistics, which was incredibly convenient. On New Year’s Eve, she personally sent warm holiday greetings—such a thoughtful touch! From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The hotel is beautifully designed, well-maintained, and perfectly located. It's not just a place to stay—it's a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning.

Grand Hyatt Chengdu (Chunxi Road Taikoo Li)

Staying at Grand Hyatt Chengdu (Chunxi Road Taikoo Li) was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service—especially the kids who were instantly charmed by the welcoming atmosphere. Our family suite was spacious and beautifully appointed, and we were pleasantly surprised that an extra bed was already set up in advance—perfect for our family of four, ensuring everyone slept comfortably. The location is unbeatable: right next to Taikoo Li, with endless dining options, shopping boutiques, and attractions just steps away. Public transport access is seamless, and getting around the city couldn’t be easier. Parking was convenient, and even better—our food delivery was brought straight to our room without any hassle. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines luxury, thoughtfulness, and convenience so perfectly. This place truly earns repeat visits. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu was an overall delightful experience. While the morning breakfast area felt slightly chilly with inadequate warm airflow from the air conditioning, and the bed could’ve used a bit more plushness—though it was still very comfortable—I didn’t feel any urge to switch rooms or check out. The overhead showerhead seemed to need descaling, but again, it didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast offerings were solid, though the pastries leaned on the sweeter side, and the freshly squeezed juice wasn’t prepared in front of guests—leading me to wonder if it was truly fresh or pre-made (it did show slight separation). I also missed seeing small wontons on the menu, but these minor points don’t overshadow the bigger picture. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail are top-notch. This is definitely a hotel worth considering for future visits—no regrets, just a strong desire to come back.

This trip to Chengdu, we skipped the bustling area of Chunxi Road and instead chose something more authentic—Grand ParcVue Hotel Residence. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like home. The living room has a spacious sofa, there’s a washing machine, dryer, and even a fully equipped kitchenette with a big dining table perfect for late-night snacks or meals. Breakfast was especially thoughtful—offering both Chinese and Western options, hot dishes, pastries, and everything you’d want to start your day right. After a full day of exploring, coming back here felt like stepping into a quiet sanctuary. The peace and comfort made all the difference. If your goal is to truly unwind and experience Chengdu at a relaxed pace, this place is absolutely worth returning to.
