Due to a delayed high-speed train schedule, we arrived at Xi'an North Station right at the stroke of midnight, facing heavy crowds and long waits for taxis—truly tiring after the journey. But as soon as we stepped through the hotel’s revolving doors, everything changed. The subtle ambient scent in the lobby instantly refreshed me, even after feeling slightly queasy from the trip. The doorman’s warm welcome and the front desk staff’s attentive service made us feel instantly at home. The room was spacious with excellent heating, and both the living and bedroom TVs supported screen mirroring. The capsule coffee was rich and delicious, perfect for a relaxing evening. After soaking in the bathtub while watching TV, I headed up to the 5th floor gym—clean facilities, a well-maintained pool, and even a massage tub in the changing area. Staying at IMS Hotel in Xi'an was an absolute delight. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the built-in projector with access to streaming content, which made movie nights feel like a private cinema experience. The 24-hour convenience store is a game-changer—just scan the code in your room and snacks or essentials are delivered straight to your door. It’s so convenient, especially late at night. I upgraded to the Qingwu Wabi-Sabi room, and it was worth every penny. The ambiance is serene, minimalist, and beautifully designed. At just ¥66 extra, this upgrade was absolutely worth it. This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Every time I return to Xi'an, Meilun Hotel is my first choice—there’s something truly special about staying here. The staff go above and beyond with their warm, genuine hospitality. During our recent visit with my daughter, we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade—huge thanks for that! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a fantastic view. Breakfast was an absolute highlight: fresh, diverse, and delicious—especially the breakfast sausages with rice and the homemade bread. The attention to detail shows how much they care. The hotel’s thoughtful management philosophy really makes guests feel respected and valued. It’s quiet, clean, and just steps away from the metro, making it easy to explore Qujiang and surrounding areas. I’m already planning my next trip. Xi'an Oriental Hotel (Xiaozhai Big Wild Goose Pagoda)

This is a well-established four-star hotel, also one of the official venues for government receptions. The rooms aren’t large and the furnishings aren’t brand new, but everything functions smoothly and efficiently—especially the power card system that ensures uninterrupted electricity 24/7, which I found incredibly convenient. Located just a short walk from Xiaozhai Metro Station, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the area, with countless dining options nearby. The on-site Huaiyang cuisine restaurant serves dishes with a light, delicate flavor—perfect if you prefer subtle tastes. Quality toiletries are provided, and the heating system works wonders: the room stays cozy and warm throughout the stay. Bonus? You can check out as late as 2 PM, which gave me extra flexibility with my travel plans. Overall, despite its age, this hotel delivers excellent value and comfort—ideal for both business and leisure travelers.

Tangcheng Hotel

Staying at Tangcheng Hotel was a real highlight of my trip to Xi'an. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk from Jixiangcun Metro Station, making it super easy to reach major attractions like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi History Museum. Despite the rainy weather and crowded holiday season affecting my overall experience, this hotel provided a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that lifted my spirits. Our stay at Somerset Xindicheng Xi'an was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The moment we arrived, staff greeted us warmly and even helped carry our luggage—so welcoming! The front desk team went above and beyond by gifting our elderly parents a pair of herbal massage mallets, which they loved so much they asked for another the next day. When one of our parents wasn’t feeling well, the team kindly allowed us to take breakfast back to the room—such thoughtful flexibility. Housekeeping staff always smiled and said hello, making us feel truly at home. The pool is exceptional—crystal-clear water with perfect temperature, far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with modern machines, plus there’s a sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a fantastic bonus for relaxation and fun. We traveled with our parents in their 80s, and the staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout. The option to request an extra bed made the space even more comfortable for family travel. Our room was spacious and fully equipped with kitchenware and a washing machine—perfect for longer stays. We’ve stayed here before and this visit only confirmed why we keep coming back. We casually asked for recommendations on nearby hospitals and restaurants, and the front desk agent didn’t just suggest places—they hand-wrote detailed directions and a list of must-try dishes, even including estimated taxi fares. At checkout, they went above and beyond by arranging a ride for us and personally reminded the driver to go slowly for our comfort. I especially appreciated the late-night noodle service—delicious and satisfying after a long day. The room itself was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with all amenities well-maintained. I loved the variety of two different flavored coffee pods, and the bathrobe came as a full two-piece set, neatly stored in a protective cover inside the closet—really shows attention to cleanliness and detail.
