This hotel offers incredible value for money! Right after check-in on May 1st, the front desk handed us a thoughtful welcome gift featuring freeze-dried seafood and tea—such a nice touch. I stayed in a spacious ocean-view double room that was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. In addition to complimentary Laoshan cola, snacks, and bottled water, guests can also redeem beer and light appetizers with their room key—perfect for a relaxing evening. The huge window faces directly onto the sea, making morning or evening strolls along the seaside promenade incredibly peaceful and enjoyable. Plus, it’s just a short walk to Zhanqiao Pier, so exploring the area is effortless. With its unbeatable location, friendly service, and attention to detail, this stay exceeded all expectations. I loved the affordable rates without compromising on comfort—beds are cozy, rooms are spacious for a hostel, and there’s reliable free Wi-Fi throughout. What really stood out was the friendly atmosphere; guests quickly bonded over shared travel stories and spontaneous adventures. It felt more like a home away from home than just a place to sleep. Qingdao Zhanqiao Railway Station Manxin Hotel

This was my first visit to Qingdao, and staying at the Manxin Hotel near Zhanqiao Railway Station made all the difference. The location is perfect—right next to a subway station, making it super easy to get around the city. There are convenience stores like 711 nearby, so everything you need is within walking distance. The rooftop terrace is an absolute highlight—it’s incredibly photogenic, especially during sunset when the lighting creates stunning shots. I must give a special shoutout to Xiao Jie at the front desk: he went above and beyond with his warm and thoughtful service. He upgraded our room without hesitation, even though we booked a non-breakfast option, and took the time to recommend local activities tailored to our interests. He also handed us a small farewell gift before check-out—such a sweet touch! This hotel truly exceeded expectations, and thanks to Xiao Jie’s exceptional hospitality, this trip felt personal and memorable. I’d highly recommend this place to any traveler visiting Qingdao.

Qingdao Zhanqiao Railway Station Mercure Hotel

The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Qingdao Railway Station, making my early morning high-speed train departure stress-free. I arrived late and still got checked in quickly and smoothly thanks to the friendly front desk staff who were attentive and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere perfect for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of variety and excellent quality, especially the wontons. Every single one had a full shrimp inside, tender and flavorful. It’s clear they take pride in their food. I’ll definitely be returning for my next business trip. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Atour Hotel Qingdao Zhanqiao Ocean View

We arrived on the 1st and were immediately upgraded to a second-floor room upon check-in—such a nice surprise! The room came with a mini-fridge stocked with plenty of drinks, including green tea, coffee, and soda—perfect for staying refreshed. There were two pillow options, so I could choose what worked best for me. The sofa was a great touch, making it easy to relax or work from the room. My favorite part was definitely the dining area, which offered stunning views of the ocean—great for breakfast or a quiet drink. The only minor downside was slightly thin walls—some noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Great value, excellent location, and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Jinhai Hotel

Staying at this long-established foreign-friendly hotel was a real pleasure. The facilities are comprehensive, the staff are attentive and genuinely warm, and the room was beautifully heated—perfect for a chilly day. If anything was missing, they promptly replenished it without hesitation. Special shoutout to Xiao Zhu and Xiao Chen—they were so friendly and professional, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the subway, and the view from the window is stunning—right onto the historic church and the lively streets of Zhongshan Road. It’s such a charming spot for photos or simply relaxing with a cup of tea. One small suggestion: could the breakfast include fresh soy milk? The machine used today didn’t work properly, and the resulting brew lacked quality. Otherwise, everything else was top-notch. This place truly delivers great value, and I’ll definitely be returning when I come back to Qingdao.

Gongshe Hotel

Stayed in Qingdao twice now, and the attic family room was absolutely fantastic! The German-style design is charming and unique, and the bed—1.8 meters plus 1.2 meters—is huge enough for both my child and me without any fear of being kicked during the night. Cleanliness was top-notch; from the moment we walked in, everything felt spotless, even the bathroom had no traces of dirt. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—every time they saw my kid, they’d call out 'sweetie' with such genuine affection, I swear my son nearly forgot his own name laughing! Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 10-minute walk to the Zhanqiao Pier, Catholic Church, and the bustling pedestrian street. Public transport access is also excellent if you want to explore further. For the quality, price, and experience, this place is a real gem. Definitely coming back next time!
