Right outside the hotel, you'll find a convenience store, a Jiajia Yue supermarket, and several restaurants, so everything you need is within easy reach. The room was spotlessly clean with excellent hygiene standards—really impressed by how well-maintained it was. To top it off, they even gifted us some tea upon check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. It’s clear the staff cares about guest comfort. With such great value and a prime location, I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

There’s always security on duty, so it feels safe throughout the day and night. The metro station is within easy reach, making train travel hassle-free—no transfers needed when heading out for high-speed rail. And don’t even get me started on the food scene—there’s a vibrant street food alley nearby, packed with delicious local bites and famous old-school restaurants. The beer? Amazing. The downstairs tea house and bar are great spots to unwind, and I ended up meeting some awesome people who shared the same love for good vibes and authentic experiences. We arrived on the 1st and were immediately upgraded to a second-floor room upon check-in—such a nice surprise! The room came with a mini-fridge stocked with plenty of drinks, including green tea, coffee, and soda—perfect for staying refreshed. There were two pillow options, so I could choose what worked best for me. The sofa was a great touch, making it easy to relax or work from the room. My favorite part was definitely the dining area, which offered stunning views of the ocean—great for breakfast or a quiet drink. The only minor downside was slightly thin walls—some noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Great value, excellent location, and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Staying at this long-established foreign-friendly hotel was a real pleasure. The facilities are comprehensive, the staff are attentive and genuinely warm, and the room was beautifully heated—perfect for a chilly day. If anything was missing, they promptly replenished it without hesitation. Special shoutout to Xiao Zhu and Xiao Chen—they were so friendly and professional, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the subway, and the view from the window is stunning—right onto the historic church and the lively streets of Zhongshan Road. It’s such a charming spot for photos or simply relaxing with a cup of tea. One small suggestion: could the breakfast include fresh soy milk? The machine used today didn’t work properly, and the resulting brew lacked quality. Otherwise, everything else was top-notch. This place truly delivers great value, and I’ll definitely be returning when I come back to Qingdao.

Gongshe Hotel

Stayed in Qingdao twice now, and the attic family room was absolutely fantastic! The German-style design is charming and unique, and the bed—1.8 meters plus 1.2 meters—is huge enough for both my child and me without any fear of being kicked during the night. Cleanliness was top-notch; from the moment we walked in, everything felt spotless, even the bathroom had no traces of dirt. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—every time they saw my kid, they’d call out 'sweetie' with such genuine affection, I swear my son nearly forgot his own name laughing! Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 10-minute walk to the Zhanqiao Pier, Catholic Church, and the bustling pedestrian street. Public transport access is also excellent if you want to explore further. For the quality, price, and experience, this place is a real gem. Definitely coming back next time!

The private balcony offered a stunning view, making morning coffee or evening relaxation even more enjoyable. Everything about this place felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. With such a great location, excellent service, and high-quality facilities, I’d definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.
