Stayed in Qingdao twice now, and the attic family room was absolutely fantastic! The German-style design is charming and unique, and the bed—1.8 meters plus 1.2 meters—is huge enough for both my child and me without any fear of being kicked during the night. Cleanliness was top-notch; from the moment we walked in, everything felt spotless, even the bathroom had no traces of dirt. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—every time they saw my kid, they’d call out 'sweetie' with such genuine affection, I swear my son nearly forgot his own name laughing! Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 10-minute walk to the Zhanqiao Pier, Catholic Church, and the bustling pedestrian street. I’d grab a quick bite nearby, hop on the subway, and head straight to the beach to just sit, stare at the sea, and let my mind wander. Evenings were pure bliss: freshened up, curled up in bed with a movie I loved, a cold beer in hand, and the world outside fading away. As a photography enthusiast, Qingdao delivered everything I’ve ever imagined—red-tiled rooftops, green trees, endless blue skies and waves. But beyond the scenery, what stayed with me was the quiet healing this place brought after such a big life moment. I’ve traveled alone before, but nothing has stuck with me quite like this. I may not belong here, but I know I’ll be back. And when I do, I hope the garden is still full of flowers, the rooms still warm, and that little courtyard still holds the same peaceful magic. We arrived on the 1st and were immediately upgraded to a second-floor room upon check-in—such a nice surprise! The room came with a mini-fridge stocked with plenty of drinks, including green tea, coffee, and soda—perfect for staying refreshed. There were two pillow options, so I could choose what worked best for me. The sofa was a great touch, making it easy to relax or work from the room. My favorite part was definitely the dining area, which offered stunning views of the ocean—great for breakfast or a quiet drink. The only minor downside was slightly thin walls—some noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Great value, excellent location, and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Special shoutout to Xiao Zhu and Xiao Chen—they were so friendly and professional, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the subway, and the view from the window is stunning—right onto the historic church and the lively streets of Zhongshan Road. It’s such a charming spot for photos or simply relaxing with a cup of tea. One small suggestion: could the breakfast include fresh soy milk? The machine used today didn’t work properly, and the resulting brew lacked quality. Otherwise, everything else was top-notch. This place truly delivers great value, and I’ll definitely be returning when I come back to Qingdao.

The walls are adorned with handwritten sheet music, adding an artistic touch that’s both unique and immersive. Yet, don’t let the vintage vibe fool you—the modern amenities, like smart toilets and plush bedding, ensure comfort without compromise. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to the iconic Zhongshan Road Pier and close to Qingdao Railway Station, perfect for travelers catching trains. Strolling through the historic streets outside is pure joy. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling, always ready to assist. I’ve already recommended this place to friends, and I’ll definitely come back next time I visit Qingdao.

Shandong Jiankang Rezen Select Zhanqiao Scenic Hotel
