Staying at Grand Mercure Hangzhou Zijingang was an absolutely delightful experience. The room's soundproofing is excellent—complete silence from both outside and neighboring rooms, which made it perfect for a restful night’s sleep, especially important for us in our 50s. The location is incredibly convenient: after the concert at the Canal Sports Stadium, it only took about 10 minutes to walk back to the hotel. A short taxi ride also gets you to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum in under 10 minutes, and the nearest metro station is just steps away. The staff went above and beyond—they noticed I had a minor skin abrasion and kindly offered a bandage. When checking out, they even handed me a little New Year gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring service. This hotel offers great value and comfort. Staying at PI Hotel in Hangzhou was such a fun and memorable experience! Located right near Huanglong Sports Center, it’s super convenient to get around—just a short walk or quick metro ride away. The hotel is on the 15th floor with two levels, giving it a spacious and unique vibe. I loved the breakfast—huge variety, especially the dumplings and wontons, which were fresh and delicious. The room had a beautiful Japanese-style tatami design, very calming and cozy. Bonus: they offer free traditional outfits like kimonos and hanfu for guests to wear—perfect for taking cool photos with friends. Upon check-in, they kindly reminded me that free late-night snacks were available at the lobby after 9:30 PM, which was such a nice surprise. After settling into my room, they followed up with a quick call to ensure everything was satisfactory. When I mentioned the air conditioner was a bit noisy, they responded immediately by sending a technician to adjust it right away—super responsive! The room itself was cozy and well-decorated, the bathroom spotless, and the breakfast spread was both delicious and varied. My partner and I had a really comfortable stay.
